Blackpoint Cyber is the leading provider of world-class cybersecurity threat hunting, detection and remediation technology. Founded by former National Security Agency (NSA) cyber operations experts who applied their learnings to bring national security-grade technology solutions to commercial customers around the world, Blackpoint Cyber is in hyper-growth mode,  fueled by a recent $190m series C round.

As a product marketer for Blackpoint Cyber, you will play a critical role in defining how our products are positioned, messaged, understood, and adopted in the market.

You will collaborate across various parts of the business including product, engineering, sales, customer success, enablement and our SOC to understand customer pain points, how our solutions solve them, and the customer buying journey.

You pride yourself on being able to translate complex technical content into clear, compelling messaging and storylines for diverse audiences, from executives and business owners to frontline IT and security professionals.

You have a tried and trusted playbook and a bill of materials that helps sales talk with their prospects and customers for every new capability, feature set, and major product launch which may include one-pagers, objection handling, solutions sheets, and comparison pages.

Your day-to-day focus is on:

Product Positioning and Messaging

  • You will play a key role in positioning Blackpoint competitively in the Managed Detection and Response (MDR) market by deeply understanding industry trends and the broader cybersecurity landscape.

  • You’ll engage with industry analysts and influencers to strengthen Blackpoint’s market presence and reputation.

  • One of your main internal constituents is Product Management. You will work alongside the team to understand customer problems, new capabilities and their value, and translate that into compelling messages to the market.

Sales Enablement and Field Readiness

  • Proactively work with sales and product management to develop a bill of materials for each new product update, or launch, anticipating their needs and consistently making it a part of your deliverables including FAQs, datasheets, and one-pagers.

  • Develop messaging frameworks, pitch materials, battlecards, solution briefs, and product presentations that support customer and prospect engagement.

  • Partner with Sales, Sales Engineering, and Enablement to improve field readiness.

Content Creation

  • Product-related webinars to educate MSPs and their end customers on Blackpoint’s product offerings, competitive differentiation, and business value.

  • Develop product-focused content including website messaging, product videos, and blog posts.

GTM Planning and Execution

  • Responsibility for determining launch tiers and educating the company on the “why” behind the tiering.

  • Lead cross-functional launch coordination across Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Technical Support, Enablement, and Sales Engineering teams.

Marketing Campaign Support

  • Support marketing campaigns with product-related messaging and positioning when needed. Partner with Content and Demand Generation to support campaigns and programs aligned to product messaging and market positioning.

Competitive Intelligence & Differentiation

  • Conduct in-depth competitive research on the cybersecurity landscape (MDR, ITDR, EDR, agentic SOC, and adjacent categories) to inform product strategy and go-to-market initiatives.

  • Identify key differentiators and develop competitive positioning, partner-focused differentiation narratives, and field-facing enablement materials — battlecards, objection-handling documents, and competitive comparison content for sales and the website.

  • Gather insights from customers, prospects, partners, analysts, and field teams to inform messaging, positioning, and go-to-market execution.

  • Maintain ongoing awareness of evolving customer challenges, security operations trends, and what the competition is saying.

  • Partner closely with the SE team on internal- and external-facing battlecards and competitive enablement.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of product marketing, product management, customer success, or sales engineering roles within the cybersecurity industry.

  • Cybersecurity product marketing experience including a minimum of one of the following technologies: EDR, ITDR, SIEM, Security Awareness Training.

  • An understanding of the MSP market, how they think, market and sell to end customers.

  • Must be capable of intelligently evaluating Blackpoint’s offerings relative to competitors and articulating how our platform fits into modern security strategies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting compelling content for both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as developing clear messaging, positioning, and value propositions that resonate with target markets.

  • Proven ability to lead small to medium cross-functional projects with minimal oversight; highly self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Experience engaging with external stakeholders through webinars, presentations, or events.

  • Strong analytical and research skills; able to synthesize market, customer, and competitive insights into actionable strategies.
