Senior Product Marketing Manager, Literacy

The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Literacy plays a key role in developing and executing go-to-market initiatives that support the success of Curriculum Associates’ core and supplemental literacy portfolio, both nationally and in key adoption states adoptions. This role owns the execution of product-level marketing plans, messaging, and launch tactics, ensuring literacy products are clearly positioned and effectively supported in market. 

Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Product Marketing – Literacy, this role partners closely with cross-functional teams to translate product marketing strategy into high-quality, actionable deliverables that drive successful launches and sustained adoption.

The impact you'll have:

  • Partner with the Associate Vice President of Product Marketing – Literacy and peers to execute product marketing plans for core and supplemental literacy products

  • Collaborate on the development of product positioning, messaging, value propositions, and competitive differentiation for assigned literacy offerings

  • Conduct market and competitive research, including attending events and participating in customer ride-alongs, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform messaging and go-to-market decisions

  • Gather and synthesize insights from cross-functional stakeholders to refine product narratives and support successful launches

  • Collaborate with Product Development to ensure marketing materials accurately reflect product capabilities and educator needs

  • Create and deliver high-quality marketing assets and playbooks, including print collateral, thought leadership content, and digital assets for use across multiple channels

  • Execute go-to-market plans for new and existing literacy products, ensuring readiness and alignment across Sales, Regional Marketing, Enablement, and Service teams

  • Support key state curriculum adoption efforts by contributing market insights, competitive analyses, and messaging guidance in partnership with Regional Marketing, Sales, and Service teams

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including Sales teams, implementation partners, authors, advisors, and industry partners

  • Track success metrics to refine product messaging, positioning, go-to-market tactics, and campaign effectiveness

What we're looking for:

  • Ability to translate direction and priorities into clear, well-executed marketing deliverables

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to inform decisions and improve marketing effectiveness

  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives effectively

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and collaborate with diverse partners

Required Education and Experience:

  • Knowledge of the K–12 literacy curriculum market and classroom instruction

  • Commitment to education and improving learning experiences through high-quality literacy solutions

  • Demonstrated success executing product marketing initiatives that drive awareness, adoption, and growth

  • 5+ years of experience in K–12 core curriculum product marketing within educational publishing or education technology

  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Service teams

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

 

Benefits and Pay Range:

Pay Range – This role’s range is $81,500 - $139,500. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.

Employees have access to a flexible vacation and sick policy in addition to twelve paid holidays and a winter office closure between Christmas and New Year's, as well as a number of additional perks and benefits.
