R1 is the leading provider of technology-driven solutions that transform the patient experience and financial performance of hospitals, health systems, and medical groups. We are the one company that combines the deep expertise of a global workforce of revenue cycle professionals with the industry’s most advanced technology platform, encompassing sophisticated analytics, AI, intelligent automation, and workflow orchestration.
As a Senior Product Manager within the Enterprise Data and Analytics Platform team, you will support both our internal stakeholders and external clients as they navigate the complex healthcare revenue cycle, delivering impactful data and reporting capabilities at scale. As the owner of R1’s new product Revy, you will be responsible for taking advantage of the tremendous amount of data and information available within R1 to deliver interactive AI-driven insights and capabilities. Every day you will communicate with business partners and clients to understand their analytical use cases, define and prioritize requirements with our data and software engineering teams, coordinate dependencies and timelines with other PMs and colleagues across our data and analytics ecosystem, and define the vision of our self-serve analytical AI product roadmap. To thrive in this role you must be fluent in the technical details of data requirements and analytical specifications, while also being able to understand and clearly explain why they matter and how they fit into our strategic business initiatives to a non-technical audience. You will need to be comfortable managing a broad scope of stakeholders and dependencies, balancing the demands of supporting well-established business lines with the need to stay current with the latest capabilities offered by our technology vendors and partners in a rapidly moving domain. You will need to be a thought leader excited to push the boundaries of what’s possible, helping define the vision for our products while also leading by example and getting into the weeds when needed.
Here’s what you will experience working as a Senior Product Manager:
- Lead the AI analytics product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring the timely delivery of new features and providing clear communication to stakeholders around progress and updates
- Prioritize initiatives, features, and stories by balancing stakeholder interests, user needs, technology direction, and product and business strategy.
- Synthesize a variety of inputs into building, maintaining, and promoting our data product roadmap
- Mitigate blockers and make tough trade-off decisions between scope and schedule, keeping our team of collaborators focused on concrete milestones and deliverables.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements offered by our partners or more broadly available in the industry if our existing vendors are limiting.
- Interface with engineering teams to articulate requirements, product vision, and business priorities utilizing Agile practices.
