The Senior Product Manager will lead strategy and roadmap development for new AI-powered payroll tax products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive execution and market success.
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for guiding strategy and creating roadmaps for new business lines focused on payroll tax products. This is a builder role that works directly with engineering teams to bring new AI-powered payroll tax solutions to market.
As part of a lean Product team, you will have significant ownership and autonomy to lead discovery, strategy, and execution for 0-to-1 product initiatives in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead long-term product strategy for new payroll tax business lines focused on AI, including market research, customer discovery, and product positioning.
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for new product initiatives.
- Identify emerging opportunities in payroll tax technology and develop business cases to support new investments.
- Prioritize the highest-impact opportunities to accelerate execution, remove blockers, and move initiatives forward.
- Translate product strategy into actionable plans that guide cross-functional teams and company planning.
- Drive product discovery and experimentation to validate ideas and reduce ambiguity in early product development.
- Drive product evolution beyond initial launch by refining product-market fit, iterating on pricing strategy, and leveraging market feedback and performance data to optimize monetization and long-term business impact.
- Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, Customer Experience, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to align on strategy and execution, in order to execute new product initiatives and deliver customer value quickly.
- Contribute to building scalable processes and frameworks that support product development and decision-making.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of hands-on product management experience.
- 3+ years of experience building 0-to-1 products, with at least 1 year of experience developing personalized products or optimized workflows using AI, machine learning, or similar technologies.
- Track record of delivering scalable products with strong user experience.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and lead early-stage product discovery.
- Experience scaling products post-launch, including refining product-market fit and evolving pricing strategy to support growth and monetization.
- Experience building products in highly regulated industries.
- Proven ability to build product vision, define strategy, and translate that vision into an actionable roadmap.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence across teams and stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for outcomes.
