Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead a product team of Engineers, Designers, and QA team members. The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced product environment where data is readily available, innovation is expected, and releases happen daily. You will be building products for both Landlords and Renters as they navigate the rental process.

As a Senior Product Manager at TurboTenant, you’ll do the following:

  • Manage your product team’s day-to-day work, playing the role of scrum master and product owner.
  • Work as part of the TurboTenant Product Org to accomplish quarterly and annual OKRs.
  • Set a quarterly roadmap that drives user satisfaction and meets the goals of the business.
  • Utilize behavior analytics, user research, and product data to report on and improve product performance.
  • Think strategically and analytically about improving the product, our technology, and how we build software at TurboTenant.

To thrive in this position, you’ll need the following skills and experience:

  • You’ve worked closely with a team of engineers (3-5) on a software product with active users, and you loved it!
  • You write cases and have managed projects using project tracking tools such as Trello, Jira, or Asana, etc.
  • You understand Scrum Principles, can rant on the pros and cons, and have worked in an agile environment.
  • You can synthesize product requirements from various inputs, including customer feedback, business goals, and user data.
  • Your strong leadership skills have earned you a following of engineers and designers who would love to work with you again.
  • You have done your own QA and release planning and have at least a basic understanding of Git Branching.
  • You can work with internal stakeholders to develop a product strategy, build a roadmap, and execute against it.
  • You understand product design principles and have worked with a product designer in the past. It's a bonus if you can get in Figma and update screens using an existing design system.
  • You enjoy talking with customers, collecting and organizing feedback, and generating solutions to their problems.
  • You have experience working with behavior analytics platforms, preferably Mixpanel.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in Product Management or related roles, with at least some of that time in a company the size of TurboTenant (~75 employees).
  • [Bonus] You have experience walking through database architecture and can write SQL.
  • [Bonus] You have led a team developing mobile apps.
  • [Bonus] You have experience working for a SAAS company with a freemium model.
