Senior Product Manager – Intelligent Document Processing

Summary

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager – Intelligent Document Processing to take ownership of our document intelligence engine. This is a high-stakes role focused on the fundamentals of IDP: classification, extraction, and data integrity. Your mission is to strengthen our existing capabilities and elevate Iron Mountain to a position of category leadership, outperforming the market in accuracy, processing speed, and the ability to handle complex, large-scale document varieties.

You will lead the charge in closing competitive gaps and ensuring that our extraction accuracy is world-class. This role is perfect for a product leader who obsesses over precision, benchmarks, and building the most reliable "Intelligence" layer in the enterprise tech stack.

In this role you will be:

  • Defining the IDP Excellence Roadmap: Executing a strategy to move our core extraction and classification engines from "functional" to "market-leading."

  • Maximizing Extraction Accuracy: Partnering with Data Science and Engineering to relentlessly improve F1 scores, precision, and recall across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured document types.

  • Leading Competitor Benchmarking: Staying hyper-current on the competitive landscape to ensure Insight DXP offers superior differentiation in extraction quality.

  • Scaling Intelligence: Managing the lifecycle of machine learning models, from initial training and testing to global production at an enterprise scale.

  • Driving Industry-Specific Precision: Collaborating with our Solutions teams to ensure our core engine handles specialized industry documents (e.g., 500-page mortgage files or complex medical records) with high accuracy.

  • Optimizing the Human-AI Loop: Providing the logic and "intelligence signals" that power our human-in-the-loop applications, ensuring human validators are only used where they add the most value.

  • Ensuring Data Integrity: Working with the Platform Architecture team to guarantee that every piece of data extracted is transformed and validated according to strict enterprise standards.

What you will need to succeed:

  • BS required (Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science preferred); MBA highly desired.

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager for a global SaaS solution, with a specific focus on IDP, OCR, or Machine Learning extraction.

  • Proven track record of improving technical performance metrics (e.g., accuracy rates, straight-through processing) in a production environment.

  • Deep understanding of the IDP market, including the technical nuances of document classification and layout analysis.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-complexity technical products and uphold rigorous standards for engineering solutions.

  • Analytical mindset: Able to look at massive data sets, identify extraction failures, and prioritize the roadmap based on the highest ROI for accuracy.

  • Self-starter with the grit to drive a core product to the top of the industry analyst rankings (Gartner, Forrester, IDC).
