Overview of the Role:

Pelago is seeking an analytical, data-driven Growth Product Manager to own the product strategy and experimentation roadmap across our top-of-funnel and care initiation journey, including landing pages, registration, onboarding, and early activation.

Growth initiatives at Pelago are treated as core product roadmap work, not side projects. In this role, you will operate as the product owner for our growth funnel, leading both long-term strategic bets and high-velocity experimentation to unlock sustainable, high-quality member acquisition. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on rigor: you will architect durable solutions while also running a disciplined test-and-learn program grounded in data, segmentation, and behavioral insight.

This is a hybrid role with a high-collaboration rhythm (3 days/week in our NYC office).

In this role you will:
  • Own the product strategy and roadmap across landing experience, registration, onboarding, and early activation, aligning priorities to revenue and patient acquisition goals.
  • Identify structural growth constraints within the funnel and lead durable, high-impact product solutions that unlock step-change improvements.
  • Lead a disciplined, high-velocity experimentation program, defining clear hypotheses, success metrics, and guardrails across growth surfaces.
  • Translate deep funnel and segmentation insights into action, ensuring experiment learnings directly inform long-term product direction.
  • Drive sustainable, high-quality growth, balancing conversion improvements with activation quality, retention, and long-term member value.
  • Serve as product lead for a cross-functional squad, aligning Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, and Care Operations around shared outcomes and clear tradeoffs.
  • Get creative to do what’s needed to help your team, and Pelago, succeed. The work you do will have a direct impact on millions of lives
The background we are looking for:
  • 6+ years of product management experience, including ownership of a product area or roadmap in a high-growth, product-led environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving measurable business impact (e.g., revenue, conversion, retention, LTV) through product strategy and execution.
  • Experience owning growth surfaces such as acquisition funnels, onboarding flows, experimentation programs, or revenue-driving product experiences.
  • Strong commercial and analytical acumen, comfortable operating with metrics like CAC, LTV, retention, activation quality, and margin tradeoffs.
  • Proven ability to define strategy in ambiguous environments, prioritize effectively, and lead cross-functional teams through execution.
  • Deep fluency in product discovery and experimentation frameworks, with comfort using analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel) and working with SQL or event-level data.
  • Genuine curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI, and a proactive mindset toward exploring how they can enhance work, problem-solving, and innovation at Pelago.
What you’ll love about us:
