This senior product manager will provide strategy and lifecycle management for our financial systems, including the management of our product roadmap, feature releases, and coordination with the Product Owner and other internal stakeholders. You will do this through a combination of product management (assessing performance and making recommendations to improve it), product development (leading product development initiatives) and product marketing responsibilities (enabling local teams with strategies/frameworks/tools to market products).
At this career level, this product manager will manage major, complex, or international products. He or she also may coach and oversee the work of other specialists.

Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur.

Leads product management efforts for a complex, large-scale product group or product suite to deliver customer expectations and organizational objectives. This includes driving the development and management of product strategy, product definition and messaging, product KPIs, operational service metrics, shared commitments and pricing strategy across a large scale, global product initiative.
Serves as a subject matter expert among product development senior professionals and leaders to continuously increase relevancy and value for complex, large-scale products and/or product groups. Leads in-depth and dynamic customer research and insights efforts to guide rapid-cycle experimentation.
Directs the development and implementation of complex product initiatives including large-scale improvements of existing products, development of new products and product suites, and marketing of changes to program.
Drives the enablement of customer-facing teams to successfully market products within a particular product group or product suite. This includes marketing strategy development, creation of marketing resources and tool kits to guide both on-going product marketing as well as the launch of product improvements and new product initiatives. Further leads the sharing of product marketing insights across customer- facing teams. Derives best practices from various benchmarks and insights and propagates practices throughout the organization.
Consults as a subject matter expert among stakeholders and leaders to guide product management, development and marketing efforts, including Supporter-facing teams, Global Program, Finance, IT, and Supporter Operations.
Frequently coaches, provides expertise, and may oversee the work of other professionals and support staff in the department or division.
Possess working knowledge of financial applications, with the ability to navigate, analyze, and support core financial processes.
10 years of relevant work experience, including 3-5 years of product management experience and/or technical project management experience
Excellent communication, including strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Deep understanding of the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology, including PI planning, ART coordination, and Lean-Agile principles (Preferred, certification in SAFE)
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly between, Engineering, Design, and Business stakeholders (IT, Marketing, Global Program, People & Culture Teams)
Ability to work in ambiguity to lead complex initiatives and drive alignment across diverse teams
