Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead design for complex, high-impact product areas within our B2B SaaS platform. This role is critical to ensuring that powerful capabilities are delivered through clear, intuitive, and trustworthy user experiences.
As a Senior Product Designer, you will operate as a design owner, partnering closely with Product Management and Engineering to shape end-to-end workflows, from problem definition through execution and iteration. You will be expected to bring strong judgment, user empathy, and craft to ambiguous problem spaces, and to raise the quality bar for the experiences you touch.
This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in complex domains, enjoys close collaboration, and sees design as a core driver of product success, not a downstream function.
Key Responsibilities
- Own design for significant product areas, from early discovery through production and iteration.
- Partner closely with Product Management to frame problems, define user journeys, and explore solution space.
- Translate complex workflows and requirements into clear interaction models, flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Conduct and synthesize user research and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions.
- Collaborate deeply with Engineering to ensure designs are technically feasible, well-implemented, and resilient in real-world usage.
- Design for edge cases, scale, and long-term product evolution, not just happy paths.
- Contribute to and help evolve the design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and reuse across the product.
- Support delivery through design reviews, QA, and launch readiness.
- Clearly communicate design rationale, tradeoffs, and decisions to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Continuously improve designs based on customer feedback, usage data, and product outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience designing B2B SaaS or enterprise software products.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of product design work, including problem framing, exploration, and execution.
- Deep understanding of UX, interaction design, and visual design principles.
- Experience designing complex, data-heavy, or workflow-driven applications.
- Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma or equivalent).
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional product teams with PMs and engineers.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions and influence outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Competencies
- End-to-End Design Ownership – Takes responsibility for design outcomes, not just deliverables.
- Product & User Judgment – Balances user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Interaction & Visual Craft – Produces clear, modern, and usable interfaces.
- Systems Thinking – Designs with consistency, scalability, and future growth in mind.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partners effectively with Product and Engineering.
- Execution Excellence – Ships high-quality work that holds up in production.
- Clear Communication – Articulates design intent, tradeoffs, and rationale with confidence.
Benefits
- Remote work-from-home environment
- Competitive salary, health, dental and vision insurance plans
- Flexible time off
- 401K retirement savings plans for US-based employees, with 3% employer match
- Professional development opportunities
- Dynamic and collaborative work environment with opportunities for growth
