We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help craft intuitive, engaging, and effective user experiences across our digital platforms. As part of the product team, you will work closely with product managers, engineers, and UX writers to design experiences that drive user growth, engagement, and retention. This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll contribute to everything from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity designs and prototyping.
Essential Functions
- Design user-centered experiences that align with BiggerPockets' product and business goals.
- Lead the end-to-end design process, from research and wireframing to prototyping and final UI designs.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and improve user experience.
- Create and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across the BiggerPockets platform.
- Use data and analytics to inform design decisions and optimize user engagement.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design principles.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design.
Critical Competencies
- User-Centered Design: Deep understanding of UX principles, usability best practices, and user psychology.
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong ability to work cross-functionally and present design concepts clearly.
- Prototyping & Testing: Skilled in creating wireframes, prototypes, and conducting user research.
- Visual & Interaction Design: Strong grasp of typography, layout, and design principles.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Experience using analytics and A/B testing to refine designs.
- Design Systems & Consistency: Ability to create and maintain design guidelines across products.
- 5+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience working within agile teams and collaborating with engineers.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, proptech, or consumer tech is a plus.
- Knowledge of real estate investing is a plus but not required.
- Remote – U.S. based
Compensation
- $135,000 - $165,000 base salary per year, based on experience
- 10% yearly bonus based on company performance
