We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer with strong systems thinking, leadership, and visual craft to join the NFHS Network design team. As the leader in high school sports streaming, NFHS Network is redefining how athletes, parents, and fans connect with the games and moments that matter most.

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll set the design vision for our streaming platform, mentor other designers, and work closely with product managers, engineers, and our marketing team to deliver a unified, brand-driven experience for high school athletes & their families.

The Outcomes You’ll Deliver

A refreshed and exciting brand experience in conjunction with Marketing
Lead research and design of a new feature that helps parents of high school athletes engage more deeply with their children’s sports experience
Own and implement a scalable design system for the NFHS Network

In This Role, You Can Expect To

  • Lead design execution for core product features (e.g., streaming interface, search, subscription flows)
  • Partner with Marketing to create a unified, end-to-end brand experience that connects product design with storytelling and campaigns
  • Conduct and synthesize user research to inform design strategy and validate solutions
  • Deliver polished, production-ready UI for web and mobile that meets accessibility and performance standards
  • Be curious about AI tools and actively question how we work as a team across design, product, and engineering—seeking better, smarter, and faster ways to operate
  • Mentor Product Designers, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to raise the level of craft and systems thinking
  • Represent design in senior leadership discussions, aligning design decisions with business goals and user needs

To Thrive In This Role, You Have

  • 7+ years of product design experience, with a proven record of shaping design strategy and delivering impactful consumer-facing experiences
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong craft, user-centered thinking, and experience with B2C products (streaming, media, or gaming a plus)
  • Proficiency in Figma, including complex component structures and variables for scalable systems
  • Curiosity and comfort experimenting with AI-powered tools such as Claude Code, Cursor and Loveable to improve workflows and outcomes
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to influence stakeholders across design, product, engineering, and marketing
  • Ability to balance independent execution with deep cross-functional collaboration

How You Play

  • Ownership over Participation- You take responsibility for achieving holistic outcomes, prioritize key objectives, and adapt quickly when situations require a different approach. You follow through even against the toughest challenges.

  • Team over Stars- You are a bridge builder, establishing processes and relationships with teams outside your own. You work to rally around common goals, find win-win solutions, compromise when necessary, and help others succeed.

  • Growth over Comfort- You are driven by a desire to grow and actively seek opportunities to expand your comfort zone, skills, and confidence. You embrace new challenges with curiosity, accepting discomfort and failure as opportunities to learn.

  • Fairness over Popularity- You approach decisions with a scientist’s mindset, challenging your assumptions and remaining objective. You consider long-term impact rather than relying on short-term gains, proactively seek others’ perspectives, and manage emotions in decision-making.
