We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer with deep UI/UX expertise to help shape a large-scale healthcare application from the ground up that will be used by tens of millions of consumers. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role for someone who thrives on translating complex problems into intuitive, beautiful, and effective user experiences.
You’ll be a key creative leader on our cross-functional product team, working closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and deliver designs that make a real-world impact on millions of users. Your work will span the full design process, from user research and ideation to creating beautiful interfaces and usability validation.

About Working at Space Inch- Our team is around 60+ people, primarily based in Croatia, but also members in South America, Serbia, and the US; the product team mostly being in the US, and engineering in Croatia and Brazil
- We are remote-first, but occasional travel may be required, e.g. for annual company retreats in Croatia

Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer
- Proven success designing for both mobile (iOS/Android) and web platforms
- Expertise with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Strong understanding of design systems, component libraries, and responsive design
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design improvements
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that communicate ideas clearly
- Strong grasp of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and UX best practices
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong written and spoken English skills (native or near-native fluency)
- Bonus points for experience designing for healthcare, HIPAA-compliant systems, or regulated industries
- Must be based in the US, applicants from other countries will not be taken into consideration
- Lead design for major product features, ensuring solutions are intuitive, visually appealing, and aligned with business goals
- Translate business and user requirements into elegant, functional designs for mobile and web
- Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UIs
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and QA to ensure seamless implementation of designs
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate and improve designs
- Advocate for accessibility, inclusivity, and user-centered design across the product lifecycle
- Maintain and evolve the product’s design system for consistency and scalability.
- Stay current with UI/UX trends, tools, and emerging technologies, applying them thoughtfully to the product.
- Intuitive design understanding of UI and UX and expertise with design software
- Ability to manage rapid design iterations, changing requirements, context shifting, and balancing diverse needs
- Work collaboratively and effectively with stakeholders with varying opinions and technical backgrounds; be comfortable engaging in constructive criticism
- Proactive in identifying UX issues before they become user pain points.
