PlayOn is looking for a Senior Product Designer who is AI-forward, with strong product instincts, refined interaction and visual design skills, and a deep focus on user and business outcomes to join our Ticketing team.

This designer will lead the vision and execution of the full B2B2C experience across GoFan, the leading platform for high school digital ticketing. That means owning design for both sides of the platform: the internal admin tools that serve our customers (schools, athletic directors, and event organizers) and the consumer-facing UI that serves fans (parents, students, and attendees)—while shaping the broader ticketing ecosystem spanning mobile apps, web surfaces, and point-of-sale software.

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll own complex, high-impact problem spaces—from discovery and strategy through execution and iteration. You’ll partner closely with PMs, engineers, and go-to-market teams to expand GoFan’s reach into new markets and customer segments, crafting experiences that resonate with both institutional partners and millions of fans.

You’ll also play a key role in reframing and visualizing the next evolution of GoFan’s product vision and market positioning—ensuring the platform continues to deliver a frictionless, trustworthy experience for consumers while scaling the admin tooling to meet the operational needs of new audiences. Critically, we expect this designer to be AI-forward: leveraging AI to process customer and consumer insights at scale, and using AI-powered tools to push design changes and accelerate iteration cycles.

The Outcomes You’ll Deliver
Drive the next evolution of the GoFan experience across both admin and consumer surfaces, shaping how the platform serves new markets while maintaining the simplicity and reliability our customers trust
Design seamless, conversion-oriented B2C experiences that elevate the fan journey—from event discovery to checkout and entry
Design efficient, intuitive B2B admin workflows that empower event organizers to manage events, ticketing, reporting, and customer operations with minimal friction
Create flexible, scalable UI and workflows that adapt to the needs of emerging customer types and event structures across both sides of the platform
Leverage AI to synthesize customer and consumer insights, inform design decisions, and push design changes yourself—accelerating the pace from insight to iteration
Help define and visualize the future vision of GoFan, aligning design direction with product and brand strategy
Contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability across a growing B2B2C product ecosystem

In this role, you can expect to

  • Own and evolve the end-to-end experience across GoFan’s consumer apps, admin tools, web, and Box Office products
  • Lead discovery and design for initiatives focused on market expansion and new user segments—spanning both B2B and B2C problem spaces
  • Partner with PMs, engineers, and GTM teams to translate research and insights into solutions that balance consumer usability with operational efficiency for admin users
  • Use AI tools to process qualitative and quantitative user insights at scale, surfacing patterns across customer feedback, support data, and behavioral analytics
  • Deliver high-quality prototypes, interaction specs, and documentation that enable smooth collaboration and implementation
  • Use data, research, and experimentation to validate design decisions and drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure design aligns with product vision, technical feasibility, and market positioning

To thrive in this role, you have

  • 5-8 years of experience in product design, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong systems thinking, polished UI, and measurable product impact
  • Proven success designing both B2B and B2C products with large, diverse user bases—ideally mobile-first, transaction-oriented, and spanning admin/operational tools alongside consumer experiences
  • Experience leading design for multi-platform products (native apps + responsive web)
  • Mastery of Figma and deep familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and modern design workflows
  • A demonstrated AI-forward approach to design—experience using AI to analyze user insights, generate and test design variations, or accelerate prototyping and iteration
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to translate product vision into clear, actionable design direction
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills—you can articulate the “why” behind your work and align teams around a shared vision
  • A collaborative approach that helps teams align around the user and deliver cohesive, high-quality experiences across B2B and B2C surfaces

How You Play

  • Ownership over Participation – You take responsibility for achieving holistic outcomes, prioritize key objectives, and adapt quickly when situations require a different approach. You follow through even against the toughest challenges.
  • Team over Stars – You are a bridge builder, establishing processes and relationships with teams outside your own. You work to rally around common goals, find win-win solutions, compromise when necessary, and help others succeed.
  • Growth over Comfort – You are driven by a desire to grow and actively seek opportunities to expand your comfort zone, skills, and confidence. You embrace new challenges with curiosity, accepting discomfort and failure as opportunities to learn.
  • Fairness over Popularity – You approach decisions with a scientist’s mindset, challenging your assumptions and remaining objective. You consider long-term impact rather than relying on short-term gains, proactively seek others’ perspectives, and manage emotions in decision-making.
