At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.

The Role

At Netflix, we entertain the world and are constantly innovating on how entertainment is imagined, created, and delivered to a global audience.

The Netflix Games Design team is seeking a visionary, hands-on, and deeply creative Senior Product Designer to shape the future of Netflix Games through conceptual UX and visual design. This role is about imagining what’s next for the product experience—translating ideas into inspiring, high-quality design artifacts that bring new possibilities to life for our platform and players.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who will be responsible for UX/UI strategy with a focus on experiential user interface design and brand expression across the Netflix Games experience—spanning discovery, platform, social, controller, and other key surfaces, primarily TV and mobile. You’ll work horizontally across the organization to envision and build product experiences that advance business goals while elevating the aesthetics and usability of the Netflix Product Experience.

You’ll collaborate closely with design, product, and studio leadership to define new directions for how Netflix members experience games. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, moves fluidly between strategy and craft, and loves working from a blank page—turning “what if?” into tangible UX and UI concepts that influence how the company envisions the future of play.

This is a remote-friendly role (within the US, west coast preferred), with required onsite meetings in Los Gatos and Los Angeles for collaboration and creative alignment. Please submit a portfolio and password with your application

About Netflix Games and Our Vision

Netflix is building a world-class games ecosystem that spans mobile, TV, and beyond. Our ambition is to connect members through new ways of play while reimagining what a game platform can be inside the world’s most beloved entertainment service.

The Games Vision & R&D team explores new possibilities for how games, play, and interactivity take shape at Netflix. This includes early-stage visual design explorations, interactive prototypes, and storytelling artifacts that inspire how we think about the future of games and play on Netflix.

This role is central to imagining and visualizing new directions — working closely with design and studio leaders and product executives to envision what’s next for Netflix Games.

What You Will Do

  • Imagine the Future: Lead conceptual and visual explorations that push the boundaries of what games could look and feel like on Netflix.

  • Create Visionary Artifacts: Produce visually stunning mockups, prototypes, and animations that express high-impact ideas with clarity and emotional resonance.

  • Prototype Boldly: Use tools such as Figma, After Effects, and generative AI to rapidly explore and communicate concepts, new interaction models and interface paradigms.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Design leadership, Creative studio, Game Studio partners, and Product to evaluate opportunities and bring conceptual work to life in partnership with the cross functional team.

  • Shape Strategy Through Design: Translate open-ended questions into inspiring creative directions that influence leadership and drive alignment across the organization.

  • Elevate Craft and Storytelling: Champion a high bar of visual quality and bring storytelling sensibility to every aspect of design.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Experience: 10+ years as a Product Designer, Visual Designer, or Creative R&D Designer with a portfolio that showcases both craft excellence and conceptual vision.

  • Visionary Thinking: Strong ability to connect creative exploration with broader business or platform opportunities, inspiring direction through visual storytelling.

  • Hands-On Creator: Skilled in Figma and comfortable experimenting across tools such as After Effects, AI generation, motion design, and 3D or interactive prototyping.

  • Deep Gaming Insight: Genuine passion for games and strong understanding of the industry’s trends, design languages, and evolving player expectations.

  • Collaborative Partner: Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, capable of working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align around creative direction.

  • Low-Ego, High-Craft: Open to feedback, highly iterative, and able to balance creative conviction with collaboration.

Even Better

  • Familiarity with game development, player engagement strategies, and the gaming ecosystem is a plus.

  • A deep understanding of how to design for both technical and non-technical audiences, particularly in the gaming or entertainment industries.

  • Technical Skills: Figma experience and working with established design systems is a plus.

Why You’ll Love Our Team

  • Empowered to Innovate: You’ll have the freedom and flexibility to craft your own design workflow while leveraging Netflix’s world-class design system and tooling.

  • Collaborative Culture: Work with a supportive, talented team on problems that matter, with the autonomy to explore new ideas and drive meaningful impact.

  • Top-Tier Benefits: Enjoy top-of-market compensation, flexible time off, and remote work options, balanced with opportunities for in-person collaboration.

  • Growth and Development: We offer meaningful financial support for further education and professional growth, in an inclusive environment where your work is valued.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits.
