About the RoleThe Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for discovering, documenting, and redesigning existing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness with an emphasis on integrating service-focused acquisitions onto Proof’s proprietary platform. This role requires a strong understanding of process improvement methodologies, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to integrate new technologies and design innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a proven track record of driving operational excellence. This role will be required to conduct face to face interviews, observe and document business processes, uncover key insights, in order to develop process-based as well as technology driven solutions. Being a Senior Process Engineer, this role is expected to operate autonomously, be self-motivated, and to provide guidance, recommendations, and insights to senior management.
Responsibilities include:
- Process Analysis and Optimization:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of current operational processes using various data collection and analytical tools as well as in-person interviews and process observations.
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement of existing processes and gaps / variances of process in acquired companies compared to Proof’s platform
- Develop and implement solutions to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
- Process Design and Development:
- Design new processes from concept to implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Utilize process mapping tools (e.g., flowcharts, value stream maps, swimlane diagrams) to visually represent and analyze complex workflows.
- Technology Integration:
- Evaluate process fit with existing technology and recommend modifications to enable process integration.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure technology solutions meet operational requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Operations, Mechanical or other Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Process Engineer / Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding and practical application of Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification highly preferred).
- Expertise in process mapping tools and techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in technology integration and automation projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel within the United States.
- Salary range $80,000 - $105,000 based on experience and location
- Eligible for 10% performance-based annual bonus
