The purpose of this job is to manage a team of associates and the assigned books of business (approximately 800 accounts for the team) to ensure the effective administration of all accounts assigned to the team.

Responsibilities
  • Cross-train, lead and develop team of associates to promote maximum productivity, engagement, succession planning and overall contribution to the strategic organizational goals.
  • Managing 5-7 associates at varying levels of experience to ensure quality client service and effective account administration.
  • Managing assigned individual portfolio of accounts within the confines of applicable policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate key transactions with Tailored Wealth Firm Operations and serve a liaison for team support in Tailored Wealth Firm Operations as well as work with WM Risk Management on identified issues within assigned team's accounts.
  • Daily administration of client funds, asset positions and transaction requests, including funds receipts, disbursements and asset movements.
  • Actively serve as a member of multiple chartered committees and the Administrative Working Group.
  • Ongoing oversight of transactions and accounts under purview and escalate where necessary including routine approvals over $250,000.
  • Internal and external interaction, collaboration and communication with the Private Wealth Advisors, Firm Operations, TW Special Assets, WM Risk Management, team members, clients and third parties.
  • Accurately, timely and completely reviewing assigned accounts, including all relevant documentation, as stated by policy and procedure.
  • Onboarding and/or closing accounts completely and accurately including document fulfillment, proper fee setting, and collaboration with Firm Operations on funding and asset movement.
  • Supporting the organizational unit and Wealth Management division as requested for projects or special operational events.
  • Ongoing review of process improvements for efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Senior Private Wealth Client Executive I Qualifications: 

  • At least one of the following:
    • Graduate of Trust School plus 6 years of experience in the administration of the type of accounts and clients related to the organizational unit; or
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field plus 10 years of experience in the administration of the type of accounts and clients related to the organizational unit; or
    • Graduate Degree in a field related to the function of the organizational unit plus 7 years of experience in the administration of the type of accounts and clients related to the organizational unit or in a field related to the graduate degree; or
    • Ten years or more experience in the practice of law or professional accounting
  • Able to demonstrate at least an advanced level of knowledge of the types, complexity, respective governance, transactions and industry practices of the clients and accounts administered by the organizational unit
  • Propensity to show managerial skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate an advanced level of Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Excellent time management skills with a detail-oriented diligence given toward tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and define the applicable policies, procedures, federal and state laws, statutes, and regulations for effective and accurate account administration
  • Ability to communicate intelligently with internal and external stakeholders, clients and third parties
  • Must complete and comprehend SEI PLATO training assigned for the role
  • Must be willing to commit to external training as required. 
  • Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (“CTFA”) or other Certification within the field of the organizational unit preferred
  • Juris Doctor preferred
  • CPA preferred

Senior Private Wealth Client Executive II Qualifications:

  • At least one of the following:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field plus 12 years of experience in the administration of the type of accounts and clients related to the organizational unit; or
    • Graduate Degree in a field related to the function of the organizational unit plus 10 years of experience in the administration of the type of accounts and clients related to the organizational unit or in a field related to the graduate degree; or
    • Twelve years or more experience in the practice of law or professional accounting.
  • The associate must be able to demonstrate at least an expert level of knowledge of the types, complexity, respective governance, transactions and industry practices of the clients and accounts administered by the organizational unit.
  • Management Experience of 3 to 5 years.
  • Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (“CTFA”) or other Certification within the field of the organizational unit preferred
  • Juris Doctor preferred
  • CPA preferred

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
