This role involves shaping the technical direction for the Identity platform, collaborating across teams, mentoring engineers, and ensuring software quality and operational excellence.
Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
We are looking for an experienced software engineer/architect to join the Identity group within Atlassian. Atlassian's Identity and Access Management (IAM) system is a comprehensive framework that is designed to facilitate authentication, authorization, and user management across all Atlassian cloud products thereby enabling user-centric collaboration scenarios in a highly secure manner. We're looking for an engineer who can help evolve the Identity platform to better meet the needs of large enterprise customers as well as understand the evolving security landscape in the context of Agentic AI. The role will report directly to the Head of Engineering for Identity. This is a remote-friendly opportunity.
