The Autodesk People and Places (PPL) team is responsible for managing the ongoing cycle of attracting, retaining, developing and engaging talent company-wide. Around the world, the PPL team designs and delivers programs, workplaces, support and services that drive business success and empower our people to shape the world and their future.  

Position Overview
As a PPL Program Partner at Autodesk, you will help lead the execution of strategic initiatives that drive business outcomes. You will ensure programs align with organizational goals and deliver impact through effective cross-functional partnerships.
 

This role works closely with senior PPL leaders, PPL centers of excellence, and enterprise stakeholders to drive alignment and collaboration across initiatives. You will report to the Senior Manager of PPL Portfolio Planning and Program Partnership and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver programs successfully.

This position can be 100% remote in the U.S. or Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Program Execution: Drive the execution of strategic PPL initiatives, ensuring alignment with Autodesk’s organizational goals. Manage multi-year program roadmaps, track milestones, and ensure teams stay accountable within a flexible framework, adapting to challenges while delivering quality, timely people experiences and products

  • Performance Monitoring & Impact Realization: Monitor program progress using specific systems and tools to track milestones and outcomes. Analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable insights that drive continuous improvement and support program success. Ensure the programs you manage create meaningful value for the company, making sure they lead to real, measurable benefits. Track their progress, measure their success, and communicate how they contribute to the company’s overall growth

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, keeping them informed on program progress, changes, and issues. Build strong, collaborative relationships to maintain their support and ensure alignment with program goals and outcomes

  • Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Serve as a trusted advisor to initiative teams, building cohesion, removing barriers and ensuring alignment with program goals. Act as the primary liaison between PPL leadership and project teams, ensuring strategic alignment and consistent communication

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in program implementation and proactively mitigate to ensure successful outcomes. Develop methods to anticipate and address potential challenges effectively

  • Change Management: Implement strategies within programs to ensure smooth transitions, adoption of new processes, and sustainable impact. Proactively address risks and readiness challenges, ensuring the organization is prepared for large-scale initiatives and that they are integrated effectively

  • Governance and Reporting: Establish and manage strong governance processes, including tracking performance, escalating issues, and setting decision-making frameworks. Provide clear and regular updates to PPL and enterprise leadership on program progress, risks, and key insights. Create consistent reporting frameworks to ensure transparency, accountability, and alignment across initiatives

  • Human-Centered Design Thinking: Apply a problem-solving approach that focuses on understanding the needs and experiences of the people the program is meant to serve. Enhance program success by integrating customer feedback into program development and execution

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years program management experience leading large-scale initiatives with multiple stakeholders, ensuring seamless planning, execution and delivery within dynamic environments

  • Prior experience in a global company

  • Ability to navigate fast-paced, complex environments and drive results despite ambiguity

  • Deep expertise in leading cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives, with extensive experience in human-centered design and driving change management efforts

  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence senior leaders and build key relationships across the organization

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align program goals with organizational objectives, while facilitating cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions

  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decisions

  • Ability to work effectively with teams across different time zones and cultures, showing flexibility and understanding of varied work styles

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS in business, management, human resources or related field

  • Prior experience working in a tech company

  • Airtable (base build, interface and form creation) experience, a plus

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $114,700 and $185,570. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $105,400 and $144,980. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
