Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion portfolio and product management best practices across business and IT teams, guiding adoption of outcome-based roadmaps and reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build and maintain an 18-month strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Lead improvements to IT project intake and prioritization processes, ensuring transparency and strategic alignment.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level reporting and presentations on IT portfolio health, performance, and key initiatives.
  • Hold business and IT accountable for roadmap execution, prioritization, and delivery quality through a product-centric approach.
  • Proactively resolve roadblocks, influence stakeholder alignment, and ensure proper capitalization of programs and projects.

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent 7+ years of experience) in a relevant field; PMP or PfMP certification preferred.
  • 4+ years in program management and IT Service Management (ITSM), with experience in release management and deployment planning.
  • 5+ years applying DevOps and product lifecycle methodologies in complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven experience in strategic roadmap development, conflict resolution, and executive-level presentations.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like ServiceNow (3+ years) and Jira (3+ years); strong Agile/Scrum/Kanban knowledge.
  • Background in telecommunications or direct broadcast satellite industry strongly preferred; excellent communication skills.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with financial management principles related to IT investments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including various testing methodologies
  • Demonstrated success in driving projects and initiatives forward in complex and undefined environments
  • Successfully identified, designed, and implemented process improvements that resulted in increased efficiency and effectiveness within IT delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year
