This role will be a member of our IT Program Management Office (PMO) leadership team and serve as a senior leader responsible for sector-specific IT delivery. As a Senior Portfolio Director, you will play a critical role as a steward responsible for enterprise alignment of sector-driven demand, initiative readiness, and value delivery.

- Sector IT Initiative Oversight: Provide oversight and guidance to Senior Managers responsible for delivering sector-specific IT initiatives, ensuring effective delivery and alignment with enterprise IT strategy and priorities.
- Enterprise Alignment: Partner with enterprise architecture and enterprise portfolio leaders to ensure sector-specific IT initiatives align with enterprise standards, best practices, and IT strategies.
- Value Delivery: Serve as a steward responsible for ensuring value delivery across sector-specific IT initiatives, including:
- Ensuring that business cases are aligned with enterprise IT strategy and priorities.
- Monitoring and reporting on value delivery across sector-specific IT initiatives.
- Identifying and mitigating risks to value delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT governance and PMO processes, including:
- Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Developing and implementing metrics to measure IT governance and PMO performance. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that IT governance and PMO processes are aligned with business objectives.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with sector leaders, BTOs, and enterprise architecture to ensure effective communication and coordination of sector-specific IT initiatives.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- 12+ years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- IT Service Management: Knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.
- Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
- Business Case Development: Ability to develop and implement business cases that are structured to measure outcomes and value delivery.
- IT Governance: Knowledge of IT governance frameworks and principles
- PMO Processes: Experience with PMO processes, including project initiation, planning, execution, and closure.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and inform decisions.
- Leadership: Experience in leading teams, including senior managers and directors.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with ability to understand business operations and goals.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with IT systems, infrastructure, and applications.
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- 15+ years relevant management experience preferred.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- IT Service management, product management, hybrid project management methodologies, SDLC, Agile and ITIL certification, ServiceNow SPM.
