As a Senior Portfolio Associate, you will conduct market analysis and lead competitive intelligence and customer insights to shape global upstream strategy for the Sports Medicine Hip portfolio. You will partner cross-functionally with R&D, PMO, sourcing, sales, and regional marketing to translate Voice of Customer and market research into product strategy, financial business cases, and lifecycle plans. Through strong analytics, communication, and execution, the role delivers actionable insights that guide portfolio decisions, drive innovation, and support sustainable business growth.
This role requires being in the office 5 days per week, at our Greenwood Village, CO office.
What You Will Do
- Conduct global market analysis and competitive research to identify trends, emerging technologies, and market opportunities in Sports Medicine Hip.
- Plan and execute Voice of Customer and Voice of Sales activities to validate unmet needs, product concepts, and value propositions.
- Partner with R&D, sourcing, PMO, and regional marketing to support upstream portfolio strategy and concept development.
- Develop financial business cases, demand forecasts, and return-on-investment assessments to guide funding and portfolio decisions.
- Contribute to product lifecycle management plans, including strategies for sustaining, evolving, or retiring products.
- Deliver timely, clear, and actionable insights to cross-functional teams to inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Apply business analytics and statistical measurement to monitor portfolio performance and anticipate market trends.
- Manage multiple workstreams independently, ensuring projects meet deadlines and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Need
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in business, life sciences, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the medical device industry or healthcare in a marketing or sales role.
- Experience in product commercialization or selling medical devices.
- Experience with new product development.
$76,500.00 - $122,000.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
