Tasks in the role

Strategic Account Ownership:

  •  Act as the global relationship lead for the Global Agency, managing executive-level relationships and ensuring alignment between Semrush and the agency’s clients.

Sell-To & Sell-Through Execution:

  •  Promote direct sales of Semrush into the agency (sell-to) while also enabling and co-selling with the agency to drive Semrush adoption across their client base (sell-through).

Enablement & Evangelism:

  •  Educate and empower agency stakeholders—including practitioners, industry experts, and leadership—on Semrush’s platform capabilities through ongoing enablement programs, demos, and custom training.

Certification & Adoption:

  •  Drive Semrush Academy certifications across agency’s network of professionals and integrate Semrush into the agency's internal training frameworks.

Revenue Growth & Retention:

  •  Meet revenue targets associated with the agency partnership by increasing platform usage, expanding enterprise licenses, and unlocking joint client opportunities.

Joint Marketing & GTM Planning:

  •  Collaborate with Semrush’s marketing team and the agency partner on co-marketing initiatives, events, and use case/case study development.

Internal Collaboration:

  •  Work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Enablement teams to deliver a world-class partner experience.

Reporting & Forecasting:

  •  Deliver regular reporting on partner health, certification progress, revenue contribution, and pipeline opportunities.

What we’re looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in partner management, agency sales, or enterprise account management, preferably in the Martech or SaaS industry.

  • Proven success managing complex global agency or consulting firm partnerships (experience with WPP, Dentsu, or similar holding companies strongly preferred).

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and the agency business model.

  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to navigate large matrixed organizations and influence without authority.

  • Experience with partner enablement, certifications, and solution selling.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally to attend key partner meetings and industry events.
