Target Range:

$24.00/Hr. - $33.00/Hr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 5%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 5%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

Axis is seeking a Senior Analyst who will be responsible for participating on an operational team that supports our clients. They help our clients grow by completing daily workloads in an accurate and timely manner. The Senior Analyst demonstrates the ability to support the functions within the Tax Departments scope: Processing and/or responding to client inquiries and processing provided documentation, reconcile and remit daily Federal and State tax withholding liabilities, reconcile and remit unclaimed property for lost/abandoned account holders and maintain cost basis tax lot reporting data in internal systems to ensure compliance with all IRS and industry regulations, and filing various forms with the IRS and state revenue departments.

Responsibilities

• Review and process Tax Department related account documentation.
• Prepare and review of daily reports.
• Interface with a variety of systems and departments to resolve tasks.
• Analyze information to ensure high level of quality.
• Subject Matter expertise in the team's discipline and to Identify process improvement opportunities.
• Provide training to new and existing staff.
• Take initiative to participate in and manage special projects and assignments that align to departmental and firm goals
• Ability to interact and communicate in a professional and friendly manner with business partners.
• Maintain a high degree of regulatory compliance and escalate any potential risk
• Other ad hoc projects as the need arises
   

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• 3+ years’ experience in the financial services industry or related industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Detail oriented with exceptional quality and productivity.
• Team player with ability to maintain a positive work environment.
• Mentality of engagement with “growth and evolution” mindset.
• Microsoft Office product experience.
• Financial industry experience or FINRA licenses preferred.
