We're looking for a Senior Recruiter to lead high-priority hiring for one of our technical books of business, focusing on attracting top-tier, onchain-forward talent across engineering, product, and design. This is a high-impact role at the center the BU’s growth, partnering directly with senior leadership and contributing to the evolution of our hiring strategy.

You’ll operate as a player-coach: driving critical searches while shaping how we attract, evaluate, and close talent who will help bring the next billion users onchain.

What You'll Do
  • Own end-to-end recruiting for senior and niche roles including engineering leadership, protocol specialists, product and growth leaders, and onchain ecosystem talent.
  • Partner with Technical leadership to deeply understand team goals, role requirements, and the broader ecosystem context.
  • Build and manage a full-funnel recruiting process that balances velocity, quality, and candidate experience.
  • Identify and engage with onchain-native talent through communities like Warpcast, X, Discord, Reddit, and at events/conferences.
  • Influence and advise hiring teams with data-driven insights and talent market context.
  • Shape our employer brand in the onchain ecosystem and help evolve our messaging, outreach, and candidate experience.
  • Contribute to broader talent strategy efforts, including pipeline diversity, interview loop calibration, and operational excellence.
What We’re Looking For
  • Terminally onchain - with a strong desire to help build a global onchain economy.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Deep experience partnering with product and engineering teams at fast-paced tech companies or startups.
  • Proven ability to source and close exceptional talent, especially for highly competitive or unstructured roles.
  • A strategic mindset and a builder mentality - you seek out leverage, iterate quickly, and care about impact over process - 0->1 excites you!
  • Excellent communication, influence, and relationship-building skills up and down the organization.
Nice to Haves
  • A presence in onchain communities or contributor networks.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
Pay Range:
$130,900$154,000 USD
