About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Network Engineer. As a Senior Network Engineer within Global Network Infrastructure Standards (GNIS) team, you will play a key role in ensuring the organization's network infrastructure is compliant, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards. This position supports engineering, build, and automation teams by driving adherence to defined network policies and governance frameworks. GNIS is responsible for setting and enforcing infrastructure standards, managing network release processes, and ensuring compliance with Wells Fargo's security and operational requirements. Our mission is to streamline and enhance existing processes, develop scalable governance models, and drive continuous improvement across the network lifecycle enabling enterprise-wide stability, innovation, and resilience.

In this role, you will:
- Use technical skillset including knowledge with various coding languages, ability to understand networking products, network product solutions, identify areas of improvement, design & execute solutions
- Collaborate with Lines of Business (LOBs) to support Business Application Requests, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards
- Drive the structured Release Management (RM) lifecycle by coordinating the planning, testing, and approval of new or updated vendor hardware and software solutions
- Maintain and enhance the Configuration and Standards Engineering (CASE) repository, ensuring accurate documentation of certified products, features, and engineering guidelines
- Ensure seamless onboarding of new technologies by managing pre-sunrise readiness activities, including new applications and hardware assets that will be certified for production
- Monitor and track vulnerability remediation efforts as part of the RM process, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry best practices
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to optimize operational efficiency and strengthen governance across the network infrastructure lifecycle
- 4+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Basic knowledge of AI and Cloud concepts and use of Copilot
- Experience in writing business and functional requirements
- Experience with Jira and Agile methodology (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, and Retrospective) and Kanban
- Understanding of Network Designs and implementation
- Knowledge of Ansible, Jinja2, Power BI, Python, Nautobot and GitHub
- Strong critical thinking skills, consistent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines amidst competing priorities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate, interact and partner with all levels of the organization
- Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills, including a strong ability to effectively evaluate and prioritize work efforts/project tasks
- Self-starter, work effectively independently and in team environments and also know when to escalate or ask for support
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of capabilities and use of SharePoint On-Line (SPOL)
- Knowledge of infrastructure capabilities and solutions
- This position requires in office expectation of 3 days per week
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
