The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on NetSuite Technical Administrator to serve as the architect and guardian of our new financial ecosystem.

This is a unique "Build & Run" opportunity.

  • Phase 1 (First 6 Months): You will act as the Data Migration Lead, owning the extraction, cleansing, and transformation of 10+ years of legacy data from Microsoft Dynamics GP into NetSuite for 5 distinct entities. You will also support and influence configuration and work with our implantation partner throughout the entire implementation.
  • Phase 2 (Ongoing): You will transition into the Lead System Administrator, owning the long-term health, optimization, and development of the NetSuite platform, ensuring it scales with our rapid growth.

What You’ll Do

Data Migration & Implementation (Immediate Priority)

  • Extraction & Transformation: Execute complex SQL queries to extract legacy data from Dynamics GP. Lead the cleaning, formatting, and mapping of master data (Customers, Vendors, Items) and historical transaction data into NetSuite CSV import templates.
  • Multi-Entity Mapping: Map disparate Charts of Accounts (COA) from 5 acquired entities (DAT, Loadlink, Convoy, Outgo, Trucker Tools) into a unified NetSuite OneWorld structure.
  • Validation: Partner with Finance to reconcile legacy data against NetSuite uploads, ensuring 100% accuracy for the September 1, 2026 Go-Live.
  • Integration Support: Partner with other administrators and engineers to integrate external 3rd party CRM (Salesforce), Data Platforms, and Billing Systems for GL and Revenue Recognition processes within NetSuite

System Administration & Governance

  • Platform Ownership: Serve as the primary "Source of Truth" for NetSuite configuration, managing roles, permissions, and user access across the enterprise.
  • SOX Compliance & Audit: Serve as the primary owner of NetSuite IT General Controls (ITGCs) to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements for our public parent company (Roper Technologies).
    • Conduct and document quarterly User Access Reviews and Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis.
    • Enforce strict Change Management policies for all system configurations and script deployments, ensuring comprehensive audit trails are maintained for annual external audits.
  • Integration Management: Own the operational health and maintenance of all NetSuite integrations (Salesforce, Stampli, Tropic, Snowflake, Ipass solutions).
    • Monitor integration logs daily to identify and resolve sync errors or data failures.
    • Develop and deploy updates to integration mappings and scripts as business logic evolves.
    • Coordinate with third-party vendors to manage API updates and ensure connectivity remains stable during system upgrades.
  • Advanced Customer Support (ACS) Liaison: Manage the technical relationship with NetSuite’s ACS team, prioritizing tickets and overseeing the deployment of complex enhancements.
  • Release Management: Lead the testing and validation of semi-annual NetSuite upgrades, ensuring critical integrations remain stable.

Development & Reporting

  • Custom Reporting: Replace legacy Excel-based reporting by building robust Saved Searches, SuiteAnalytics Workbooks, and financial dashboards.
  • Automation: Utilize SuiteFlow (Workflows) and basic SuiteScript logic to automate manual business processes, specifically in the Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay cycles.

The Skills and Experience You’ll Bring

  • Experience: 4+ years of hands-on NetSuite Administration experience, with at least one full-lifecycle implementation (Legacy ERP to NetSuite) completed.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in SQL (for data extraction/analysis). Snowflake experience preferred.
    • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, VLOOKUP, complex data manipulation).
    • Functional knowledge of SuiteScript (ability to read/debug code is required; ability to write from scratch is a plus).
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience implementing and maintaining NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM)
    • Experience implementing and maintaining NetSuite SuiteBilling
  • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of NetSuite OneWorld (Multi-Subsidiary) environments and core accounting flows (GL, AP, AR, Rev Rec). Prior SaaS experience is preferred.
  • Certifications: NetSuite Administrator Certification or SuiteFoundation Certification preferred.
