Join the Movement for Health Empowerment at WISEcode

WISEcode is on a mission to transform how people understand, choose, and enjoy the foods they eat. We are not building another static health app. We are pioneering an intelligent, interactive experience that empowers families with clarity, confidence, and curiosity around everyday decisions.

We’re seeking an exceptional Senior UX Designer who thrives on creating meaningful, intuitive, and engaging mobile experiences that blend thoughtful design with interactive systems. Your work will directly shape how families discover, learn, and build healthier habits together through beautifully crafted, motivation-driven experiences. If you’re passionate about health and wellness, skilled in designing for iOS and Android, experienced in architecting engagement and progression systems, and excited about the challenges of a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment, this role offers you the chance to make a tangible and lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design process for mobile (iOS/Android) engagement systems, from discovery to final handoff

  • Own the full engagement loop strategy, including interaction design, motivation systems, and progression models

  • Translate product requirements and behavioral goals into wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes

  • Design intuitive, cross-generational mobile experiences that support shared family interaction on a single device

  • Architect scalable interactive systems including achievements, progression models, challenges, streaks, and reward frameworks

  • Design engagement loops that can evolve from lightweight gamification into deeper interactive systems as the product matures

  • Apply behavioral psychology and motivation theory to drive sustained engagement while maintaining ethical design standards

  • Ensure interactive systems encourage curiosity and learning without manipulative mechanics

  • Design for retention metrics such as Day 1, Day 7, Day 30, and 90-day engagement

  • Maintain and evolve a scalable mobile design system in Figma

  • Ensure consistency and usability across platforms by adhering to Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google’s Material Design system

  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists in agile sprints to iterate and refine solutions

  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping, documentation, and iteration across the design lifecycle

  • Champion AI-enabled design workflows that increase velocity and scalability within a lean startup environment

  • Conduct user research and usability testing across both adult and youth audiences to validate interaction models

  • Support QA during development sprints by reviewing builds and ensuring pixel-accurate implementation

  • Communicate design rationale clearly to cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in UX or Product Design with a portfolio demonstrating excellence in mobile-first consumer products

  • 2+ years of experience designing interactive systems or game-based engagement models within mobile applications is a plus

  • Proven track record designing products that drive measurable engagement and retention

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating progression systems, motivation loops, or educational discovery experiences

  • Deep understanding of behavioral psychology, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, and retention design

  • Experience designing ethical engagement systems appropriate for youth and family audiences

  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma with experience managing shared libraries and scalable design systems

  • Deep understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google’s Material Design

  • Proven experience designing for native iOS and Android mobile apps

  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, startup environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines

  • Experience working within agile development teams using tools such as JIRA, Notion, or similar

  • Demonstrated use of AI tools in design workflows to improve speed, quality, or collaboration

  • Highly organized with attention to detail and a bias toward action

  • Comfortable working directly with founders and C-level leaders to bring a product vision to life

  • Passion for health, education, consumer wellness, or mission-driven products
