The Senior Mobile Developer will design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android while collaborating with various teams on new features and optimizations.
Maxana is looking for a talented Mobile Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications that push the boundaries of what's possible. As a Mobile Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while ensuring performance and reliability across our applications. You will also be building a mobile application from the ground up for our industry leading client.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement user-centric features
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues in mobile applications
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best coding practices
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to help evolve our development practices
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure the reliability of applications
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in mobile application development, with a strong focus on iOS and Android platforms
- Proficiency in either Swift/Objective-C for iOS development or Kotlin/Java for Android development
- Familiarity with React Native or Flutter is needed
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration
- Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization
- Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience working full stack (python/django, javascript, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Portuguese is ideal
