A Day in the Life 

This individual will be responsible for leading the development and execution of patient marketing programs, in close collaboration with external partners and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities will include:   

Customer Engagement 

•    Develop, lead, and execute programs for peer-to-peer programs: 

  • CAS Experience Centers- EP centers that showcase the safe and effective use of the CAS portfolio to their peers 

  • Dialogue dinners- Peer-to-peer education engagements where EPs can learn the safe and effective use of the CAS portfolio from other EPs 

  • P2P phone calls 

•   Develop, lead, and execute Therapy Awareness Programs (TAP) 

  • HCP TAP 

  • Patient TAP 

•    Act as the main point of contact between cross-functional teams on needs for product marketing, ensuring consistent and effective communication. 

•    Manage HCP communications for marketing programs and activities 

•    Track KPIs for key programs, tactics and activities and establishing regular state of the business communications to key stakeholders 

•  Serve as an advisor to the field on P2P marketing opportunities that support their business priorities 

 

Campaign Development & Launch 

•    Develop campaign objectives, priorities, messaging, content, and key metrics 

•    Direct integrated marketing plan and execution in support of HCP marketing 

•    Develop and support engaging assets and content to drive thought-leadership 

•    Responsible for development of project budgets and control of spend  

•    Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, industry experts, and internal teams. 

•    Evaluates opportunities related to current and future needs by gathering customer feedback, monitoring procedural trends, evaluating competitive landscapes, and evaluating reimbursement in key procedural areas.  

•    Develops and maintains ongoing relationships with internal and external customers.  Includes interaction with marketing, marketing operations and communications, clinical, legal, regulatory, and various HCP customers (EPs and administrative stakeholders) 

 

MUST HAVE: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

•    Bachelor’s degree required 

•    Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in marketing, strategy, market development, sales, training and education, or other commercial groups, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in marketing, strategy, market development, sales or other commercial groups. 

•    Experience managing clinician engagement 

Nice to Have 

•    Experience: 5+ years in product or brand marketing, training and education, preferably in medical technology or healthcare. 

•    Electrophysiology experience 

•    Communication Skills: excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. 

•    Leadership Skills: proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams. 

•    Analytical Skills: strong ability to analyze complex data and market trends. 

•    Travel: willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for market visits, customer engagement, and internal meetings.

Works independently under limited supervision to determine and develop approach to solutions. 

Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level specialists; may manage projects / processes. 

Organizational Impact: May be responsible for entire projects or processes within job area.

Innovation and Complexity: Problems and issues faced are difficult, and may require understanding of multiple issues, job areas or specialties. 

Makes improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of the job area. 

Analysis provided is in-depth in nature and often provides recommendations on process improvements. 

Communication and Influence: Communicates with senior internal and external customers and vendors. 

Exchange information of facts, statuses, ideas and issues to achieve objective, and influence decision-making. 

Leadership and Talent Management: May provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area. 

May manage projects, requiring delegation of work and review of others' work product . 

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. 

May have practical knowledge of project management.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$86,400.00 - $129,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
