About your role: 

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Project Manager to join our virtual team and play a key role in orchestrating complex marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep experience leading integrated campaigns, thrives in cross-functional environments, and possesses strong strategic and executional project management skills.

Your team:

In this position, you’ll be part of a world-class marketing team, made up of passionate and enthusiastic team members across disciplines. You’ll report to the Director of Marketing Operations and closely collaborate with marketing leaders, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.  

The Senior Marketing Project Manager will get to: 

  • Partner with marketing and cross-functional leaders to translate strategic goals into clear execution plans across campaigns, launches, and initiatives 
  • Lead end-to-end strategy and execution efforts to streamline operations and improve efficiency. 
  • Use and evolve our Marketing Project Management Governance Framework to drive clarity, efficiency, and impact from project intake to delivery 
  • Lead the use of the Marketing Project Value Scorecard Framework to ensure all initiatives are aligned to business goals and deliver measurable results 
  • Own the development of project plans including key milestones, task ownership, dependencies, and resource allocation 
  • Build and manage projects in Asana or Jira and ensure seamless collaboration across project communication channels 
  • Drive projects forward, proactively managing risks, resolving blockers, and adapting plans as needed to stay on track 
  • Facilitate clear and consistent communication, including regular check-ins, stakeholder updates, and alignment meetings 
  • Foster strong relationships with external vendors, ensuring seamless coordination and accountability 
  • Standardize and scale execution by creating playbooks, templates, and best-practice guides from project retrospectives 
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and marketing operations, proposing enhancements that increase team effectiveness 

To be successful in this role, you’ll also: 

  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for assigned marketing and cross-functional projects 
  • Lead and coach project teams to achieve shared goals, promoting ownership and collaboration 
  • Provide strategic input during planning to help marketing and cross-functional leaders scope and prioritize projects based on impact and effort 
  • Manage team capacity and align resourcing needs to timelines and project scope 
  • Deliver clear, actionable updates to leadership and stakeholders 
  • Track and report on key performance metrics across marketing and cross-functional initiatives 
  • Identify and escalate potential roadblocks or inefficiencies early, offering potential solutions 
  • Provide operational excellence, continuously improving how work gets done 
  • Offer project management guidance and advisory to teams outside marketing that need it 

Your experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field 
  • 8–10+ years of experience in marketing project management, program management, or integrated marketing operations 
  • PMP certification or equivalent required 
  • Deep expertise in Agile and hybrid methodologies; experience working in fast-paced, iterative environments 
  • Proven track record managing complex marketing and cross-functional initiatives from concept to completion successfully 
  • Experience managing a portfolio of concurrent functional and cross-functional projects 
  • Exceptional planning, organization, and problem-solving skills 
  • Extreme attention to detail — include your favorite ice cream flavor in your cover letter so we know you read this! 
  • Great interpersonal and leadership skills 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 
  • Jira wizard and Slack master 
  • Advanced proficiency in other project and collaboration tools (Asana, Confluence, Mural) 
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
