The Senior Marketing Engineer will enhance marketing outcomes through data and AI, automating multichannel campaigns and integrating marketing systems.
The summary above was generated by AI

As a Senior Marketing Engineer, you will serve as the technical bridge of our marketing organization, translating data and AI innovation directly into marketing outcomes. Your mission is to accelerate multi‑channel campaign launches, personalize content at scale, and optimize funnel conversion.

You will stitch together CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools to transform data into automated lead scoring, dynamic campaigns across email, social, web, and ads, programmatic partner sourcing, and other personalized engagement strategies. These systems will empower our marketing team to run more targeted, data‑driven programs that drive pipeline and conversion.

You will partner closely with Platform Ops, Marketing Ops, RevOps, and Analytics to ensure that data, systems, and automation are seamlessly integrated to support scalable and innovative marketing programs.

This role reports to the Director of Marketing Operations within our connected GTM Operations team. Success requires a track record of delivering solutions that elevate marketing performance, ideally within high‑growth, fast‑paced environments.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and automate GTM systems: Develop custom integrations to enhance GTM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Segment, Chameleon, Clay, and other tools to improve predictive scoring, intelligent routing, personalized messaging, and maintaining clean, enriched data to power campaigns.

  • Partner closely with marketing stakeholders: Identify, define, and scope opportunities for AI-driven solutions that enhance marketing campaign performance and operational efficiency.

  • Prototype and iterate on marketing workflows & automations: Identify friction points in the funnel, ship prototypes, test them with marketing and sales teams, and scale successful experiments. Support building playbooks like dynamic visitor campaigns, programmatic partner sourcing, and activation plays that lift conversion rates.

  • Develop AI-driven marketing capabilities: Build predictive lead scoring models, next-best-action or next-best-offer engines, automated content or subject line personalization using generative AI or prioritization algorithms.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for marketing on AI tools and emergent trends: Educate the marketing team and identify opportunities for process automation and enhanced efficiency.

  • Collaborate with Data Platform to ensure automations align with governance, scalability, and performance standards.

  • Assist in building data pipelines that power AI models, reporting, and advanced analytics.

  • Collaborate with Analytics teams to deliver insight-ready datasets.

What you’ll bring:

  • 4+ years in marketing engineering, marketing technology, or GTM engineering role.

  • Demonstrated understanding of key marketing channels and campaign strategy (email, social, web, paid), and how to leverage them for pipeline growth, personalization, etc.

  • Strong understanding of marketing automation, lead management, and customer journeys.

  • Experience working with GTM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Segment, Clay, BI Reporting Tools, Chameleon) and cloud integrations.

  • Strong coding skills: JavaScript, ETL, SQL, and API development.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (e.g., predictive modeling) — no need to be a data scientist, but comfortable integrating AI tools or APIs.

  • Excellent problem-solving, innovation, and communication skills.

Benefits:

  • Healthcare: 90-100% paid premiums for medical, dental, and vision plans for employee and dependents + on demand health care concierge

  • HSA, FSA, & DCFSA: Pre-tax savings plans for healthcare and dependent care, with up to a $600 annual employer contribution to the HSA plan (if enrolled in HSA medical plan)

  • 100% paid short and long term disability plus life + AD&D benefits

  • Learning & Development: $500 annually towards professional development opportunities + $250 annually towards personal development opportunities

  • Flexible Time Off: Flexible vacation policy for strong, fully charged batteries

  • 16 Weeks Paid Parental Leave: An inclusive policy to ensure you have time with your newborn, newly adopted, or foster child (available after six months of employment)

  • Work Remotely: Flexible hours and work from home + $1,000 annually to cover necessary business related items for your home office

  • 401K: Reach your financial goals while reducing your taxes

This role will receive a competitive base salary, benefits, and stock, typically in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The applicable salary range for each US-based role is based on where the employee works and is aligned to one of 3 tiers based on the cost of labor for that geographic area.
