Your Challenge:

  • Support development and integration of EOL testers and automation systems by contributing to design reviews, executing assigned development tasks, and collaborating with the Principal Manufacturing Engineer to align with functional, safety, and regulatory requirements.

  • Build and assemble electrical test equipment including harness fabrication, wiring, instrumentation setup, panel assembly, fixture installation, and system checkouts.

  • Develop and maintain LabVIEW‑based test applications and integrate NI hardware such as DAQ, cDAQ, and cRIO; implement modular code and proper documentation.

  • Assist with automation integration, including PLC interfaces, handshaking signals, robot I/O, vision/part‑presence checks, and equipment verification steps.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving electrical schematics, software, fixtures, instrumentation, and electromechanical systems to ensure high uptime and repeatable test performance.

  • Perform continuous improvement activities such as cycle‑time reduction, first‑pass yield improvements, test method optimization, and robust root‑cause investigations.

  • Create and update documentation: schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, work instructions, test methods, preventive maintenance plans, and validation records.

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with design engineering, quality, production, and maintenance to support new product introductions and sustained production.

What You Bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree ideally in Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering field

  • 3–5+ years in manufacturing test, electrical validation, or automation engineering within a production environment.

  • Hands-on experience building and troubleshooting test equipment, including wiring, harnessing, electrical panels, and instrumentation.

  • Familiarity with PLC/HMI systems and industrial robots from a hardware integration perspective (no advanced programming required).

  • Exposure to LabVIEW/NI platforms is a plus (ability to assist with I/O mapping or minor edits), but not required.

  • Strong ability to read/author electrical schematics, create wiring diagrams and fixture documentation; practical knowledge of ESD, electrical safety, and machine guarding principles.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; effective at cross‑functional alignment and mentoring.

  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and version control/documentation practices.
