Ibotta is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Insights to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding.
Sitting within the Business Marketing Team, this role serves as the strategic authority on customers, competitors, and our broader industry. This role partners closely with marketing, analytics, data science, and external vendors to deliver proprietary customer research that fuels compelling B2B content and sales narratives. In this capacity, you will lead everything from in-depth customer interviews to large-scale quantitative studies, ensuring decisions are grounded in the voice of the market. The ideal candidate blends rigorous research with commercial storytelling, translating complex insights into clear, evidence-based recommendations that influence senior stakeholders and drive action.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position, requiring 3 days in office. In-office hybrid days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Candidates must live in the United States.
What you will be doing:
Manage quarterly brand equity tracker to monitor awareness, sentiment, and perception against key competitors.
Conduct original research and benchmarking studies to be used as the backbone for white papers, thought-leadership articles, and lead-gen assets.
Translate research findings into digestible "insights kits" for the sales team, providing the data-backed evidence needed to validate our market position.
Partner with Product Marketing to design and oversee feedback loops (NPS, CSAT, win/loss interviews) to provide the business with a continuous pulse on customer satisfaction and pain points.
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to build a comprehensive view of how customers discover, evaluate, and choose our solutions.
Act as a consultant to Product, Marketing, and Sales teams, ensuring that the "Voice of the Customer" is represented in roadmap and messaging decisions.
What we are looking for:
7+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or strategic planning. Experience in B2B or AdTech environments is a major plus.
Deep expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research design, including survey programming, sampling strategy, focus group moderation, and statistical significance.
Proven ability to support Sales and Content teams by identifying "winning" data points that drive conversion and brand authority.
Advanced skills with research tools (e.g., Qualtrics, Momento, or Typeform) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, or high-end PowerPoint storytelling).
A track record of presenting complex findings to executive leadership in a way that is clear, persuasive, and jargon-free.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Behavioral Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field; Master’s/MBA preferred.

Additional Details:
This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Employee Stock Purchase Program, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, snacks, and occasional meals.
Base compensation range: $135,000 - $155,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base salary.
