The role:

We are seeking a Senior Manager, SoFi Plus Member Acquisition to help accelerate the growth of SoFi Plus within the Member Business Unit. This role will focus on overall acquisition strategies and tactics, defining our segmentation strategy, leading the development and optimization of member signup experiences across teams, and tracking all acquisition placements and performance. Success in this role will directly support our ambition to serve millions of SoFi Plus members with the best financial services subscription in the world.

The role will be directly responsible for sizing addressable market opportunities, establishing key segments, and determining the unique value propositions that will resonate most for each segment. They will determine how best to address segment growth through each acquisition channel, and build the measurement framework to track impression coverage and performance, along with optimization targets. They will work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Data Science, Design, Engineering, Operations, and business stakeholders to launch new acquisition placements, manage launch timelines, surface dependencies, and regularly communicate progress to senior leaders.

This is a highly analytical and cross-functional role for someone who can translate data into insights that create growth, drive alignment across teams, and create clear executive-ready updates on acquisition performance, launch readiness, and business impact.

What you'll do:
  • Own the overall acquisition strategy and drive the execution roadmap for SoFi Plus member growth across member and prospect channels.

  • Own addressable market opportunity sizing and segment definitions by population, channel, and placement type.

  • Bring a member-first lens to acquisition strategy, ensuring placements and messaging connect eligible members and prospects to relevant SoFi Plus value propositions.

  • Own all-up placement and impression performance, including performance readouts, insight generation, and recommendations for optimization.

  • Build and maintain reporting on acquisition reach, impression coverage, placement performance, and incremental improvements over time.

  • Use data to identify high-impact acquisition opportunities and advocate for new placements, tests, and channel expansion.

  • Track launch timelines for acquisition placements across channels, highlighting cross-functional dependencies, risks, blockers, and readiness gaps.

  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Data Science, Design, Engineering, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders to move acquisition initiatives from strategy through launch.

  • Lead executive updates, readiness reviews, and stakeholder communications related to SoFi Plus acquisition priorities and progress.

  • Create operating mechanisms that improve transparency, accountability, and decision-making across acquisition workstreams.

What you'll need:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in product management, product strategy, portfolio management, growth, analytics, marketing strategy, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience using data to size opportunities, prioritize growth initiatives, and influence product or business decisions.

  • Strong analytical skills, including comfort working with large datasets, funnel metrics, segmentation, experimentation, and performance reporting – especially through the use of AI-powered tooling.

  • Experience defining addressable audiences, channel opportunities, growth levers, and measurement frameworks.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment without relying on formal authority.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level updates, business reviews, and decision materials.

  • Strong program-management discipline, including the ability to manage timelines, dependencies, risks, readiness reviews, and stakeholder accountability.

  • Ability to connect strategic priorities with operational execution and measurable business outcomes.

  • High ownership mindset, strong judgment, and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get work done.

Nice to Haves
  • Experience in consumer fintech, financial services, subscriptions, loyalty, membership, or rewards programs.

  • Experience with lifecycle marketing, in-product growth surfaces, onsite/app placements, CRM channels, or paid/owned acquisition channels.

  • Experience partnering with analytics teams to build dashboards, measurement frameworks, or growth experimentation plans.

  • Experience working in regulated environments with Legal, Compliance, Risk, or Operations stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with SoFi products, SoFi Plus, rewards, member engagement, or cross-product growth motions.
