Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Estimated annual base pay:  $143,000 (minimum) - $179,000 (midpoint) - $215,000 (maximum)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead high-complexity, high-risk programs and manage CAT 3 projects, ensuring deliverables meet contractual and business objectives while maintaining customer satisfaction and QDRC standards.

  • Team Leadership: Build, develop, and maintain a skilled team, including Program Managers and Project Coordinators. Champion continuous improvement and mentor junior program managers.

  • Resource Allocation: Prioritize programs and resources, assess workload complexity, recommend allocations, and ensure teams are appropriately staffed to meet objectives.

  • Governance and Oversight: Establish and manage project/program governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Project Life Cycle: Ensure full and appropriate use of processes such as Product Life Cycle (PLC), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Parts Transition Process.

  • Customer Engagement: Act as the primary customer contact, resolve cross-functional issues, and present project status to executives and stakeholders.

  • Risk and Change Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while championing change initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during program execution.

  • Financial and Resource Management: Manage budgets, financial forecasts, and resource allocations to ensure cost efficiency and maximize return on investment (ROI).

  • Strategic Initiatives: Drive process improvement initiatives (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) and align programs with long-term business goals.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and other teams to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and supplier evaluations.

  • Business Development: Participate in new business development and product portfolio management to enhance competitiveness.

  • Risk Management: Develop effective risk strategies to mitigate uncertainties and minimize negative impacts on organizational goals.

  • Analytical Thinking: Use data, metrics, and KPIs to evaluate performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

  • Financial Acumen: Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations efficiently to ensure project profitability.

  • Program Governance: Monitor accountability, decision-making, and performance tracking while ensuring compliance with standards and policies.

  • Change Management: Address resistance to change and foster adoption of new processes or solutions during transitions.

  • Portfolio Integration: Manage interdependencies across programs to ensure coordinated delivery and optimized performance.

Successful Candidates Typically Have:

  • bachelor’s degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS

  • Project management experience in a PLC environment or closely related field

  • Previous management experience

  • PgMP (Program Management Professional)

  • Greenbelt Certification

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
