Job Description

The Senior Manager, Procurement Strategic Sourcing, Food & Beverage is responsible for leading category strategy and execution across assigned Food & Beverage (F&B) spend areas. This role focuses on delivering cost optimization, service reliability, and supplier performance while supporting operational needs across hospitality and mountain operations. The Senior Manager partners closely with culinary, beverage, and operations leaders and plays a key role in enabling standardized sourcing practices and Source-to-Pay (S2P) adoption across F&B categories. This position reports to the Director, Strategic Sourcing.

The salary range for this position is $105,000 to 130,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute category strategies for assigned F&B categories, aligning sourcing decisions with quality, availability, and cost objectives
  • Lead sourcing events and supplier negotiations for food, beverage, and related distribution categories
  • Own contract lifecycle management for F&B suppliers, including renewals, pricing reviews, and adherence to standard commercial terms
  • Partner with culinary, beverage, and operations stakeholders to understand demand patterns, seasonality, and service requirements
  • Support inventory- and item-related S2P configuration activities, including catalog setup, contracted items, units of measure, and guided buying enablement
  • Champion standardized purchasing, inventory, and supplier onboarding processes within F&B categories
  • Coordinate with Operations and Shared Services teams to address supplier performance, pricing accuracy, and invoice discrepancies
  • Track and report category performance, including savings, cost avoidance, service levels, and compliance metrics
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; hospitality, supply chain, or finance background preferred
  • 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement, with direct exposure to Food & Beverage categories

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Experience working with distributors, manufacturers, and local/regional suppliers
  • Familiarity with inventory management concepts and S2P or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms
  • Proficient knowledge of market dynamics and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions
  • Skilled in managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively with different departments to achieve business objectives
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively, empowering teams while maintaining accountability
  • Ability to earn trust and respect from project stakeholders and influence decisions that need to be made to make any project successful
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality
  • Detailed knowledge of internal processes, workflows, and decision-making protocols

Additional Information

Work Environment & Physical Demands   
•    Ability to stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time, kneeling and bending may be required
•    Regularly work indoors with no adverse conditions  
•    Must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
