Position-Related Responsibilities and Key Job Duties
- Lead and motivate teams to achieve maximum productivity, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
- Support daily operations with a focus on cost reduction and optimal resource utilization.
- Recruit, train, coach, evaluate, and develop team members to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Manage line efficiencies, key performance indicators (KPIs), and downtime to meet production targets.
- Operate within established labor and operating expense (OPEX) budgets.
- Monitor production processes, conduct periodic checks, and adjust equipment or work practices in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Ensure all assigned equipment is maintained in proper working condition and that a safe work environment is consistently upheld.
- Verify production line readiness at start-up and oversee line changeovers to ensure smooth transitions.
- Oversee product and packaging quality to ensure compliance with all standards and specifications.
- Respond to organizational needs with professionalism, technical expertise, and timeliness to support successful business outcomes.
Education and Additional Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role managing people and processes.
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of production or manufacturing experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing personnel and budgets.
- Basic proficiency in computer systems and database applications.
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems and processes.
- Working knowledge of key business drivers used to evaluate internal team or supplier performance.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Experience with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 22000, ISO 9000, ISO 14001) or other management systems.
- Working knowledge of food safety principles and practices.
- Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Change management principles.
- Operational Excellence frameworks.
- Lean manufacturing concepts and tools.
Skills:
Pay Range:
$114,000 - $139,000Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:
15Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
