Job Duties and Responsibilities
This position will be part of the Global People Analytics team, supporting key strategic analysis for the HR organization. As we scale and optimize our People Analytics capabilities, we need a Senior Manager, People Analytics who not only delivers accurate reporting and advanced analytics but also transforms complex data into clear, compelling stories that drive business action.
The ideal candidate will be able to distill raw workforce data into insights, comparators, and recommendations that inform decisions on initiatives both large and small-clearly articulating the potential ROI of taking action (or inaction) in alignment with business priorities. This leader will partner closely with HR and business executives to influence strategy with evidence-based insights, ensuring decisions are backed by both rigor and relevance.
Equally important, this role is about people leadership: inspiring and developing a high-performing team of analysts to produce their best work. The Senior Manager will cultivate an environment where data is leveraged not just to measure outcomes, but to proactively shape them-elevating the impact of People Analytics across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with HR Business Partners and cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and deliver actionable, evidence-based insights
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts to design and deliver analytics solutions that influence decision-making
- Develop dashboards, predictive models, and workforce planning tools to identify trends and forecast future needs
- Provide consultative support to HR leadership, translating data into clear business recommendations
- Drive innovative analyses to measure the impact of HR programs and initiatives
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and governance of people data across systems and reporting tools
- Stay informed on emerging analytics methodologies and tools to continuously enhance EchoStar's analytics capabilities
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's in Analytics, HR, or Business preferred
- Strong HR domain knowledge with at least 7 years of HR and analytics experience, including 3+ years leading teams or presenting to senior management
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership, including executives
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under tight timelines
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Alteryx) preferred; willingness to learn new tools required
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence leaders through data
- Collaborative, team-oriented, and professional, with a high level of integrity
- HR or Data Science certifications and experience in consulting or high-growth technology environments a plus
