Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Senior Manager, National Field Operations is responsible for setting the strategic direction and overall leadership of the National Field Operations Practice Team. This role drives alignment with national and market-level leaders and ensures that field engineering teams are equipped with the necessary skills, tools, and processes to deliver excellence across ORAN network deployments. The Manager will foster cross-functional collaboration, oversee complex projects, and maintain high operational standards to maximize network performance, reliability, and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define the vision for field engineering, develop managers, and set clear performance goals
  • Serve as the key liaison between field ops, NOC, development, and RAN leaders to drive continuous improvement
  • Implement workflows, quality metrics, and safety protocols while optimizing ORAN network deployment and maintenance
  • Lead major initiatives, ensuring projects stay on budget, on schedule, and meet quality standards
  • Develop national strategies, standardize SOPs , and collaborate with IT to enhance field operations

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • 12+ years of experience in telecommunications or field operations with at least 5 years in a direct people leadership role
  • 4 year degree in a related discipline preferred

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in managing geographically dispersed teams and large-scale network deployments
  • Strong strategic thinking with hands-on experience in project management, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Deep understanding of ORAN technologies, field engineering methodologies, and industry regulatory standards
  • Up to 50% Travel

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $110,110.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
