Who You Are

You are a pragmatic, business-minded contracts professional who balances risk with progress. You are detail-oriented, commercially aware, and focused on moving agreements forward without unnecessary friction.

You communicate clearly with both legal and non-legal stakeholders, navigate negotiations with confidence, and know when to push, compromise, or escalate. You take ownership, follow through, and create a smooth, professional experience for counterparties while keeping internal teams informed and supported.

About This Role

As Senior Manager Legal Operations, you will own the contract lifecycle from intake through execution, ensuring agreements move quickly, predictably, and with appropriate risk management. You will partner cross-functionally to resolve issues, negotiate terms, and keep deals progressing toward signature.

This role directly impacts revenue velocity, vendor performance, and risk exposure. You will help the business move faster while protecting the company, and continuously improve contracting processes so they scale with the organization.

Must be based in the United States.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Manage the end-to-end contract process, from intake through negotiation to final execution
  • Review, draft, and redline a range of agreements, including:
    • NDAs
    • MSAs
    • Service Provider Agreements (SPAs)
    • Solutions Proposals (SPs) and Statements of Work (SOWs)
    • Other commercial contracts as needed
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for counterparties during contract negotiations
  • Balance speed and risk—move agreements forward quickly without exposing Myriad to avoidable liabilities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Insurance, etc.) to resolve business and commercial terms
  • Identify and escalate legal or risk issues to senior legal leadership when appropriate
  • Track and manage contract status to ensure timely execution and visibility
  • Support continuous improvement of contracting processes and workflows

Desired skills and experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or a related role
  • Strong experience negotiating commercial agreements (NDAs, MSAs, vendor/customer contracts)
  • Excellent redlining and issue-spotting skills
  • Solid understanding of key legal and commercial terms (liability, indemnity, payment terms, SLAs, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with both legal and non-legal stakeholders
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Experience working with contract management systems (e.g., Ironclad, DocuSign CLM, or similar) is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required; JD or paralegal certification is a plus but not required

  • Own It: We set clear expectations, communicate proactively, and follow through on our commitments. We take pride in the experiences we create and the outcomes we deliver. We are personally invested in the success of our team and our clients. We iterate to deliver ever better results.

We are consistently listed among Inc & Crain's "Best Places to Work" and we're proud of our accessible & engaged executive team. We believe in cultivating an atmosphere of inclusion and providing an environment that enables every employee to work to the best of their ability.
