POSITION: Senior Manager of Instructional Leadership
LOCATION: DSST: Home Office
SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - $97,500 based on up to 10 years of relevant experience
STATUS/CLASSIFICATION: Full time, benefits eligible, exempt, in-person position (Denver, CO)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Support Instructional Leadership Teams
Provide strategic guidance and support to instructional leadership teams across the network to ensure alignment with DSST’s desired outcomes and teaching and learning strategies.
Develop and facilitate professional development sessions aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of instructional leaders.
Collaborate with school leaders to identify needs and implement tailored support plans to strengthen instructional leadership practices.
Implement Coaching Practices
Lead the development and implementation of a coaching model that supports teachers' professional growth and improves instructional practices.
Build out a new coach onboarding plan that supports the development and ongoing support of new instructional coaches
Train instructional leaders and coaches in effective coaching techniques and practices that are grounded in research and proven to impact teaching and learning positively.
Facilitate the sharing of best practices and resources across the network to promote a culture of collaborative professional learning.
Network-wide Support, Collaboration, and Progress Monitoring
Work closely with other members of the Schools and Academic Leadership Team to ensure coherence and alignment of instructional leadership development initiatives with curricular frameworks and teaching standards.
Collaborate with content teams to ensure coaches are receiving on-the-ground, content-based support implementing instructional coaching PD
Participate in the design and implementation of systems and processes for monitoring the impact of instructional leadership practices on teacher effectiveness and student learning outcomes.
Engage in regular data review and analysis to inform strategic decisions and adjust support strategies as necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree
Master’s degree in Education field preferred
6+ years of professional experience in education
Instructional coaching experience required
Demonstrated excellence in leading professional development
Track record of developing leaders across lines of difference
Evidence of developing and executing against a strategy with strong results
Previous school leadership strongly preferred, ideally in a high performing school context
