This role is critical to our influencer team’s success, allowing you to oversee a particular client(s). In this role as client lead, you will oversee strategy and have full confidence in owning campaign execution with limited oversight. You will have the opportunity to lead brainstorms for inventive content ideas and topics that drive engagement through influencers and social campaigns. It also provides the opportunity to lead a team of junior team members and drive the strategic vision to support your clients’ needs, all in a supportive, people-first environment on a team with ample growth opportunities.

Key Accountabilities

In direct collaboration with Director, Influencer Marketing, responsibilities include:

  • Driving client relationships by serving as the primary day-to-day contact to fulfill their needs relating to influencer marketing opportunities.
  • Supporting the development of influencer strategies across multiple clients and categories.
  • Owning the development and presentation of influencer strategies based on client needs and inputs.
  • Assisting in forecasting potential impact of influencer campaigns / KPIs and communicating how it can impact clients’ businesses.
  • Reviewing and developing creative angles and messaging shared with influencers to ensure a successful campaign.
  • Managing one or more junior team members and ensuring their success by providing the tools and support they need to meet their goals.
  • Acting as resource to build growth plans for your team.
  • Developing contractual language to ensure protection of the company and our partners. Working with Dentsu Legal to settle contract amendments while ensuring on-time delivery of content under each agreement.
  • Supporting your team with influencer negotiations and contracting with talent and their representatives.
  • Making recommendations for campaign content and optimization throughout projects.
  • Reviewing and approving influencer invoices and following a set process for invoice management.
  • Ensuring compliance across the team with required client and FTC guidelines.
  • Being responsible for overall quality control for all client-facing deliverables.
  • Managing and presenting back progress against overall client revenue goals.
  • Troubleshooting issues with processes and tools and suggesting ways to improve them.
  • Proactively recommending opportunities to current clients in an effort to grow business with them organically.
  • Building bridges between your team and colleagues across Dentsu to ensure our best work.
  • Overseeing data analysis and interpreting results.
  • Participating in new business pitches upon request.

Person Specification

Our ideal candidate has:

  • 1+ years experience in an advertising or agency setting
  • Approximately 3-5 years’ applicable experience. Agency experience is preferred.
  • Solid project management abilities and skills.
  • Prior experience with influencer management platforms such as Creator IQ, Captiv8, or similar.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Prior experience working directly with both clients and an internal, cross-functional team.
  • Experience reviewing/redlining contracts.
  • Experience managing budgets.
  • A process and drive for remaining up-to-date with new developments in influencer and digital marketing and commerce.
  • A proven record of growing business.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize large amounts of information and multiple campaigns at the same time.
  • A belief in the value of attention to detail and holding team members accountable.
  • A team and people-focused attitude.
  • An eagerness to learn from others within all levels of the organization. 
  • Skilled with programs like PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
  • Comfort in a remote working environment.
  • Open to coming into the office in select locations, if proximity allows.
  • Ability to be self-sufficient while being reliable throughout the day through various communication channels.

Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $68,300 - $85,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.

Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
