Position Overview:
As the Senior Manager of FP&A, you will lead the company’s financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis efforts, serving as a trusted advisor to the executive team and business leaders. You will drive financial visibility, operational efficiency, and strategic growth through data-driven insights and disciplined financial management.
This role is ideal for a dynamic, forward-thinking leader with a strong foundation in corporate finance and accounting, proven experience managing and scaling FP&A functions, and a passion for driving impact within solar, renewable energy, or high-growth scale-up environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and evolve the FP&A function, managing a team responsible for corporate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across all business units.
- Serve as a key strategic partner to the executive team, providing insight and financial guidance that influence company direction, growth initiatives, and capital allocation decisions.
- Oversee and enhance the annual planning and rolling forecast processes, ensuring alignment with company strategy and operational execution.
- Develop, refine, and maintain dynamic financial models and dashboards that measure performance, forecast outcomes, and support strategic investment decisions.
- Own company-wide KPI development and tracking, ensuring alignment between operational metrics and long-term financial goals.
- Provide strategic and financial analysis to support business cases, new market opportunities, product launches, and project-level ROI.
- Implement scalable financial systems and process automation to increase forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering analytical excellence, strategic thinking, and professional growth.
- Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, and Commercial teams to improve forecasting accuracy and financial transparency.
- Support corporate development activities, including M&A modeling, due diligence, and integration analysis.
- Communicate financial performance and outlook to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders through clear and compelling presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, with at least 2+ years in a management or leadership capacity.
- Proven success leading financial planning, forecasting, and analysis in a renewable energy, solar, or high-growth/scale-up environment.
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making through financial insight and strategic perspective.
- Strong technical proficiency in financial modeling, scenario planning, and business case development.
- Experience implementing or optimizing financial systems and automation tools (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, NetSuite, Power BI).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
- Proven record of building and leading high-performing teams in fast-paced, evolving environments.

This role offers a base salary of $120,000 – $135,000 (DOE)
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each posted range, individual pay is determined (and may be greater or higher), dependent on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
