As the Senior Manager, Email & SMS Marketing you willClient Management & Leadership: Strategically oversee and drive the development and execution of advanced, multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring they exceed SMS & Email performance objectives and contribute to long-term client success.
Client Onboarding & Transitions: Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive onboarding and transition frameworks, ensuring a seamless experience for clients while aligning strategies with their evolving business needs.
Team Leadership and Development: Provide visionary leadership to a growing team of both strategic and production focused marketing professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and innovation. Responsible for providing timely feedback, coaching, and conducting weekly 1:1 meetings to offer ongoing support. Set strategic goals, deliver coaching, and support professional development to enhance team performance.
Business Acumen and Financial KPIs: Lead Email & SMS initiatives that align with overall business objectives, driving significant impact on revenue growth, customer retention, and profitability. Monitor financial performance, optimize team budgets, and report on KPIs to executive leadership.
Innovation and Thought Leadership: Spearhead innovative marketing strategies and thought leadership within the organization, staying at the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Advocate for and implement cutting-edge approaches to enhance the customer journey.
Client Education: Establish and oversee the development of comprehensive client education programs that empower clients with the knowledge and tools to optimize their marketing efforts, fostering long-term partnerships.
Industry Expertise: Serve as a key industry expert, providing strategic insights and guidance based on a deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies, to continuously refine and elevate lifecycle marketing strategies.
Channel Expertise: Lead the strategic use of various marketing channels, including email, social media, SMS, in-app messaging, and more, ensuring their effective integration into a cohesive, data-driven Email & SMS approach that maximizes customer engagement and loyalty.
7-10 years of experience in Email & SMS Marketing, CRM roles with a proven track record of executing successful campaigns
1-2 years management experience preferred.
Expertise in at least one ESP, one SMP, and overlay/real-time content/onsite messaging vendors (bonus if it’s Klaviyo, Braze, Iterable, or SFMC)
Demonstrated success analyzing data and using analytics tools to drive marketing decisions
Advanced computer skills including Google Suite, Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively across clients, multiple partner relationships, and internal initiatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with external and internal teams.
