Job Description

The Forbes Advisor CRM team is on a mission to become a strategic and revenue-generating powerhouse. We’re looking for someone who can be a Lifecycle thought leader for the Home, SMB, and Health verticals. In a nutshell, this role will develop strategic plans for these verticals, is a creative marketer, strong in executing campaigns, and has superb analytical experience. 

This individual is a strong communicator and collaborator. They will work across multiple departments, including product, the general manager of the vertical, analytics, partnership, and more. Bringing their vision and strategy to life via emails and SMS campaigns. This individual will help achieve specific revenue goals for their verticals, bringing a whole suite of new campaigns to life. 

Some key attributes we are looking for - someone who brings new ideas to the table, isn’t afraid to test and learn (even if that means test and fail), a strong collaborator, and the ability to stay organized by prioritizing the most impactful work.

We are looking for someone passionate about leading and growing team members, as this role has one direct report. This role will report to the Senior Director, CRM. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning: 
    • Independently develop and implement comprehensive lifecycle strategies for the Home, SMB, and Health verticals ensuring alignment with business objectives 
    • Proactively share new ideas and campaign recommendations for email & SMS, focusing on growing lifetime value, upselling to existing customers, or cross-selling new products and services 
    • Collaborate with the larger CRM team on bringing the test & learn roadmap to life
    • Segmentation & strategy expert (this role knows the end-to-end customer experience for these verticals across all channels) 
  • Creativity: 
    • Develop copy documents for new campaign ideas in partnership with our editorial team
    • Develop email visuals using our customer engagement platform, in partnership with our design team 
    • Stays up to date on email & SMS trends and competitors 
  • Execution: 
    • Develop realistic project timelines for campaign execution, and communicate those with stakeholders 
    • Work with product/engineering for new data schema needs to bring campaigns to life 
    • Can build email & SMS journeys, audience segments, and messaging templates within our customer engagement platform 
  • Analysis:
    • Responsible for achieving vertical-specific revenue & performance goals, outlined with the CRM department leader 
    • Optimizes their existing campaigns to achieve goal KPI’s and above benchmark expectations 
    • Can independently pull their reporting with our customer engagement platform and Tableau
    • Shares campaign-specific insights & trends regularly (test performed, weekly/monthly changes in performance) 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of Lifecycle/CRM experience 
  • Strong leadership skills (this role has one direct report) 
  • Thrives collaborating across other departments and building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Nice to have: experience with Iterable, Braze, or equivalent platform 
  • Nice to have: experience in an industry similar to our Home category
