We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Contracts within our Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Strategic Business Unit. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven person to lead contract strategy and execution within the Mission Solutions & Payloads (MSP) Sub strategic Business Unit (SSBU) and Space Protection & Control (SPC) mission area.
This position is well suited for a highly motivated, well-organized person who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Your responsibilities will include developing creative approaches to solving problems, while employing strong contractual change management and communication skills, managing a dynamic team of contracts professionals and developing personnel talent.

What You Will Do
Lead a small geographically dispersed team of experienced contracts managers, providing oversight, guidance, support and talent development.
Contracts lead for the development of proposals, negotiations, contractual agreements, contract execution, day-to-day administration
Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives and comply with company policies
Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure work is performed to the overall contract scope
Develop and enhance positive customer relationships for working contractual matters to resolution
Effectively communicate with senior leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization
Leverage excellent relationships with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and other functions to drive closure on complex contractual issues and achieve business results
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' experience
Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain SCI after start date
Experience with U.S. Government contracts administration
Experience in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), and equivalent U.S. Government regulations
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience working as a Contracts Lead and/or direct engagement with external customers for contract negotiations for the delivery of defense articles and/or services as well as working with other business partners, i.e. Program Management, General Counsel, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Development, Program Finance, Estimating and Pricing, and/or Accounting
Experience with one or more of the following: Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs), Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and/or International Direct Commercial Sales under different contractual arrangements such as FFP, FPIF, CPFF, CPIF, T&M, and LOE
Experience working competitive acquisitions, including initiation of Teaming Agreements, Organizational Conflict of Interest plans, developing strategies related to fee and contract structure, leading development and drafting of contractual volume response
Working knowledge of Intellectual Property (IP) rights, how to properly protect IP, Government Rights in Data, Software licensing, Free and Open-Source Software and how to leverage data rights strategies to protect competitive advantages and the ability to understand complex terms and conditions, including the ability to assess associated risk, develop mitigation strategies, draft contractual language and negotiate waivers with senior leadership for any non-conforming contractual terms
Experience with one or more export compliance requirements such as International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)/Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA), and/or Manufacturing Licensing Agreements (MLA)

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
