The Senior Manager, Compensation is a key role within our HR team, responsible to develop, drive, deliver, and evaluate policy and programs in the areas of global compensation including job architecture and classification for our team members globally. This key position is responsible to make recommendations to maintain the competitiveness of our compensation programs through survey analysis, benchmarking, and research on compensation trends.
Job responsibilities
- Contribute as a key partner within the HR team to develop and lead the execution of multiple compensation programs across KBI.
- Lead, design, and manage ongoing reward initiatives, including salary benchmarking, remuneration, and incentive reward schemes.
- Develop salary and long-term incentive ranges after completing a comprehensive analysis based on internal and external market data.
- Execution and delivery of the compensation policy, processes, and comp-related activities.
- Provide expertise and guidance to business leaders and HR stakeholders around the design, development, and implementation of any new HR and compensation related systems that may be put into place.
- Drive continuous improvement in our processes and planning tools to provide a better manager and employee experience.
- Oversee the completion of compensation surveys to assess our overall competitiveness against external markets and internal equity, ensuring salaries are determined with equity, fairness and aligned to KBI’s compensation philosophy
- Provide leadership and expertise in compensation strategy, policy, design, and development, implementation, and continuous improvement to align with and support the achievement of our strategic objectives and business plans.
- Build strong relationships across HR and with business leaders with any updates related to local labor laws/compensation legislation that could have an impact on working conditions in the countries where KBI conducts business.
Education and experience
- 10+ years' experience in compensation or rewards management including benchmarking, job evaluation, salary banding, and incentive compensation.
- Solid understanding of state and local laws pertaining to employment and compensation requirements.
- Experience within a high-growth environment working with compensation and reward programs in a global environment.
- Competent experience with HRIS Systems, their configurations, and workflows; Workday familiarity is a plus.
