Senior Strategic & Major New Business Representative
Clinical Decision Support-Provider within the WK Health Division focuses on the front-line, point-of-care decision makers to optimize patient outcomes while reducing burnout.
We do so by publishing world class and trusted actionable guidance rooted in evidence based literature to help caregivers make the best decisions for their patients in the ambulatory, hospital/health system and sub acute care settings.
Our new business team acquires new logo prospects and cross sells into accounts with active relationships. They do so by deeply understanding the challenges facing clinicians and provider organizations and leveraging internal expertise to articulate how CDSP solutions could mitigate those challenges. The new business team leverages subject matter experts to do so:
- Account Executives where appropriate for Account Insights
- Product Specialists for clinical and technical expertise
- Customer Success for change management and implementation
This particular role will target our largest and most strategic opportunities:
- UpToDate, Lexidrug and Medi-span new business for the Federal Government market
- UpToDate new business for the Strategic Central region.
- Special New Business projects and roles
With this in mind, the ideal candidate will present:
- Demonstrable skills and success selling to Hospital/Medical Centers and presenting to C-level executives

- Exceptional organizational skills
- Self-starter but collaborative, team player with strong interpersonal skills that creates an engaging work environment with many internal constituents

Responsibilities:
- Achieving sales quota
- Assisting in developing additional markets
- Prioritizing maximum company revenue, anchoring high on pricing
- Identifying opportunities, collaborating with partners and initiating action on identified opportunities
- Curating and executing exceptional solution based messaging for outreach, meetings and follow up
- Exceptional up discipline
- Optimizing Salesforce; emails tagged, meetings logged, forecast fields and ACV's accurate
- Comply with established sales policies, pricing guidelines, quoting and contracting processes
- Maintain the highest standards of integrity and respect for all.
Requirements:
- A BS/BA Degree; MBA preferred but not required
- Minimum 10 years prior sales experience including 5 years selling to the healthcare market.
- Track record of success in building relationships and presenting to C-Level
- Experience demonstrating and selling sophisticated and complex products/technologies, IT Solutions sales preferred
- Ability to develop and execute a business plan
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent listening and presentation skills
- Effective time management, and prioritization skills
- Strong computer skills (SalesForce, Excel, PowerPoint, Word,)

Compensation:
$98,500.00 - $172,700.00 USDThis role is eligible for Commission.
Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location. Your recruiter can share more information about the specific offer for the job location during the hiring process.
