Reporting to the Leader of Strategy and Execution, the Senior FLIGHT DECK Leader partners with business leaders to:
- Serve as a strategic partner to support functional and cross-functional teams to translate business goals into actionable initiatives with measurable impact and business outcomes.
- Facilitate the development and execution of strategic initiatives using Lean and project management methodologies.
- Develop leaders and teams as FLIGHT DECK coaches and FLIGHT DECK practitioners
- Design and deliver training programs to develop internal expertise and produce promote development of FLIGHT DECK coaches and practioners across the organization.
- Promote a mindset of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Model Lean leadership behaviors and embed Lean thinking into daily operations.
- Maintain expertise in Lean practices through internal and external engagement with thought leaders, conferences, and professional networks.
- 10+ years of experience leading complex projects and transforming business performance through Lean and project management.
- Proven Lean practitioner with expertise in: Daily Visual Management, Structured Problem Solving, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Transactional Process Improvement.
- Demonstrated success in large, matrixed organizations—able to navigate across geographies, cultures, and stakeholder groups.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering results on time and within scope.
- Effective change agent with the ability to gain buy-in, demonstrate impact, and drive cultural transformation.
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams.
- Critical thinker who can lead through ambiguity and competing priorities.
- Experience leading through complex change and challenging environments with resilience and strong followership.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
- Skilled at coaching leaders and building Lean capability across all levels.
- Background in financial services or insurance or transactional environments.
- Experience designing or building business systems for global enterprises.
- Strong time and project management discipline.
- Proven ability to quickly bring structure, clarity, and momentum to teams and initiatives.
