Senior/ Lead Java Backend Software Engineer (m/f/x) - Full Time/Part Time

We offer this role as a full-time position, but are happy to consider part-time options starting from 30 hours per week!

• Work on the cutting-edge Grail storage permission system and query API.
• Contribute to our high load, high availability, and high resiliency permission service.
• Grow your API design skills.
• Prototype, design, and implement features in Java 17/21.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with product architects and cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
• Mentor and support colleagues, fostering an approachable and supportive environment.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and performance of the team’s service.
• Join an international team and boost our productivity by enhancing delivery, collaboration, and communication.
• Take ownership of your service as a team and fully utilize Dynatrace to monitor and optimize your features.

• Degree in Computer Science.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend / core development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative and motivational personality with a proactive approach.
• Passion for service resiliency and performance.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and Spring experience is beneficial.

• Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 65,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
